Jordan Hare is, objectively, a dump of a stadium compared to most of the rest of the SEC. From an aesthetics, amenity, and fan comfort perspective, I can’t name many stadiums in worse shape & in need of major overhaul. Vanderbilt, Missouri… that’s about it
I don’t understand you fat pussies who go to games wanting to be comfortable. Some things in life aren’t supposed to be comfortable

Nobody said you have to.

He said their stadium is a shithole.

Yours is too.

First off, this expression is stupid and overused.

Secondly, this is the Rant. The only purpose for this forum is to spew hate at the fans of other universities. Mindless shite talking is the sole agenda. Of course his post is motivated by the fact that he hates Auburn.

The people downvoting have never been to Jordan-Hare.

Amazing baseball stadium, new basketball arena and a dump for a football stadium.

Yeah, Ole Miss and Auburn built those arenas at just the right time.

Must be nice.

lol Hugh is buying in his old neighborhood here unfortunately.

Wish he’d just stay there, but I don’t know if you caught any of his daughter’s posting after he got fired
I hope she got through her class presentations okay last week without breaking down from the grief of her father losing his job and walking away with +$15 million.

The players are in stadium 2% of their time. Our player performance center and indoor facilities are tops in the country.

The fact Jordan-Hare is dated and still is a better atmosphere than nearly every campus - certainly smokes bama - tells you a lot.

The North Endzone approved is 220m

Alabama got lucky with Saban

Any team would have been lucky to get the greatest coach of all time for 17 years, but that aside , even before Saban, Alabama won more games, more SEC games, more SEC titles, and more national titles than any other team. For that matter it’s a great bet that the history had some part in Saban’s choice to come to UA.

I’ve been to over 200 games in Jordan-Hare.

I’ve been to…

25 Bama games (18 in Tuscaloosa / 7 in Birmingham).
7 Georgia games
7 LSU games
7 Ole Miss games
7 Miss State games
5 Tennessee games
4 Florida games
3 Vandy games
2 Arkansas games
2 South Carolina games
1 Kentucky game
1 Missouri game
1 Clemson game
1 Georgia Tech game
1 Kansas State game
1 Penn State game
1 Troy game
1 UAB game
1 Virginia game
1 West Virginia game

Along with…

10 SEC Championship games (9 in ATL, 1 in BHM)
3 Sugar Bowls
3 Capital One Bowls
2 Peach Bowls
1 Orange Bowl
1 Rose Bowl
1 Fiesta Bowl
1 Outback Bowl
1 Music City Bowl

I can honestly say the only places that rival a big game Jordan-Hare atmosphere are Tiger Stadium, the Swamp, and Penn State.

My boy Blakeney lives in Auburn. We drive him back to Troy to give him plaques.

the environment at JHS is still elite

The condition of the stadium is, unfortunately, not ideal. That said, it's not as bad as Bama fans say. It's well below Bama and A&M post their overhauls. I don't think it's much behind (if at all) from Sanford, LSU, etc.

Auburn has unfortunately been doing things in discordant bits and pieces and slapping new signage on aging facades when we need to just do a massive aesthetic overhaul.

Should be a welcome distraction from the burning dumpster fire in Baton Rouge right now.

This has nothing to do with environment. Jordan-Hare is old and going to a game there - they’ve done nothing to improve that unless you’re in one of those field level seats.

Yea, he needed the smaller stage at that time. He's now ready for the big show. Auburn was and still is up a creek having to play elite bama and UGA every year.

Auburn is about to have their 4th different coach in 5 years. Not everyone else is doing that.
I remember a school having THREE different coaches in TWO seasons.
