UF with Sumrall wins a natty within 3 years. Year one is a SECCG appearance followed by a bowl. Year 2 is a SEC Championship with playoffs. Year 3 is SEC Championship and a National Championship.

Troy was back to back Division II College World Series Champions in 1986 and 1987. I was there as a little kid in 1987. So it's been nearly 40 years since Troy played for a natty in baseball. A long long time ago.

I'm checking in anyway. Troy made conference championship game in football with a bowl game. A conference title in basketball with NCAAT. Also CWS. Not bad from a little school in Alabama.
