Sorry but haven't found the swamp to be that intimidating. An tiger stadium was sure quiet in the 2nd half when Aggies played there last season.
Auburn deserves to be rated higher.

Yes, kicked a FG in 3rd, then recovered on-side kick and punched it in early in 4th.
Jared Cook proceeded to drop a wide open TD that ultimately would’ve tied it. USC ended up driving down to AU 6 or 7yd line and came up short on 4th and 1 with 19sec left in game for game tying score in corner of endzone.

The difference between #1 and #8 on this list is razor thin. Depending on how good each of these teams are in a given year, their opponent, the time of day, implications of the game could shift any of them all the way to #1. Kind of silly to argue about. The only noteworthy thing there is that it's a big compliment to South Carolina (and to A&M to a lesser extent). The rest of these schools pack the house to see a team that has been very good in recent memory. Not South Carolina. Imagine what that place would be like if they had Alabama's history, or Georgia's recent run.

List is complete shite. Will Anderson said DKR was the loudest stadium he’s ever been in when Alabama played Texas in 2022. And what are they basing this on? Certainly not wins and losses which is what counts, Not made up opinions. Terrible list.

Far and away? Hardly. You must have missed the 2022 Tennessee-Alabama game at Neyland. The best atmosphere ever at LSU still is not far and away better than that crowd in 2022 at Neyland.

We were playing with a terrible coach so most people were drained at the product on the field. If you had gone there when Meyer, Muschamp, Spurrier, even Dan Mullen it would have been a ton different. The noise at quite a few SEC Stadiums gets insane at times.

As an LSU die hard. This is a joke! Death Valley is just a loud freaking concert with insane piped in music. The fans just sit there and dance and clap and bob there head. The music has removed the angry Cajun spirit into a dance party. Death Valley, is now a wannabe number 1. Until they kill the music, we will be back at the top

But Owen field and OMS is no easy place to win for opponents. The close proximity of seating around the field can be intimidating. And the aura of the place is real.
It may not be the loudest or get the writer accolades but it’s a tough place to play.
OU can get really loud... but it isn't consistently loud compared to other places. OU doesn't have much in the way of chants or cheers like for instance... a place like A&M does. A&M always has a lot of background noise during the game because they have all those goofy chants they do.

We should all go to Vandy games and cheer for Vandy(when not playing our team) to help them rise. Not like it would hurt.
