1- Bama landed Milroe.

The best part about that?

EVERYONE was certain he was going to Texas.

I get that. I’m just waiting on him to act like he isn’t as good because he plays 1a football in Ga.

He was. He committed there. Then they fired their entire coaching staff.

He flipped to Bama only after Quinn Ewers committed to Texas. He was looking around already, but Ewers was the golden boy for the program and he saw the writing.

Unfortunately for Texas, his commitment there didn't last and he flipped to tOSU and Bama still walked away with Milroe

Yet 247, ESPN, rivals do it every day.

And how often do their sites get clicks?

Dematrius Davis is going to drag his nurtz over the face of the entire SEC the next few years.

Played 6A Texas ball. Won Texas Offensive player of the year. 51-3 as a starter in high school. Baw about to ball.

Getting guys like Milroe when BAMA has such a potential superstar waiting his turn in Bryce Young is unusual. With Taulia and Mac gone from the QB room, it was especially a good get. In fact, overall, it was a great year to pull the best of the talent pool out of Texas.

The question is what style of offense did we recruit him for

The point is the level competition he played against and the speed of the game at that level.
