For that level for sure. For the game speed of that level... for sure.

It's tough going from 6A to SEC. It's going to be harder from 1A private to SEC.

Not saying he can't do it, but lets not act like what he did in private 1A was against tough competition.

Like I said, he may be the next Football Jesus. But doing that in private 1A....

Can we just talk about Jaxson Dart and Maddog Madsen.

Not their play. Just how awesome those names are.

Nuss's competition was about as good as it gets.

1- Bama landed Milroe.

Not anywhere near the top passer throwing 1275 yards this season. He is a dual threat which leads me to question what we are doing in the future. On the ground, 300 yards.

He had nearly 3000 yards passing as a junior. I don’t think his high school played a full season in 2020.

The point is the level competition he played against and the speed of the game at that level.

Means very little when they get to college. I guess Derrick Henry shouldn't have been rated as high either since he was tearing up little ole 1a schools in Florida

Not to mention the fact that he has won best performance award at almost every camp he’s ever set foot in.

Not true

Not a QB who is responsible for reading complex SEC defenses full of the best players that have come from HS teams that have played at a higher level.

Again, maybe the second coming of Football Baby Jesus. But I'm not going to proclaim it with his numbers coming from a private 1A level.

Nope, but the same principals apply in that he's going from a different speed of the game and against much stronger competition in the SEC.

No one has said he's going to. But you're coming off like a dolt trying to dismiss his skill simply for playing in 1a football.

Maddog Madden is a based name, but a retarded misspelling of Jackson is a common name basic white woman give their kids these days. It’s the new aiden, hayden, braiden, cayden, jaden.

Herschel Walker went to 1A Johnson County. You se how that turned out. Georgia's 1A schools can beat most states AAAA teams.

No Bama bump for him, but definitely excited.

2- LSU landed Garrett Nussmeier.

He had roughly 2800 yards passing and does not break the top 50.... nor top 90 (that's ok... ours.. well.. 1275 yards).

Passing TDs 33, and 5 ints.

Myles Brennan. Maximus "Baby Burrow" Johnson. Garrett Nussmeier.

QBU

Too bad we're not OLU.

Yet 247, ESPN, rivals do it every day.

You’re pretty wrong about that. They don’t really look at the stats. If you look at the leading high school rushers, passers, pass rushers, etc. in the country every year, the majority of them aren’t even 3 star recruits. Quite a few of them don’t even receive a star rating.

Dematrius Davis is going to drag his nurtz over the face of the entire SEC the next few years.

I'm sure that will happen a few times when he's taking 10 sacks a game behind that godawful AU offensive line. Hope he doesn't get hurt before transferring elsewhere.

I stopped there when I saw the stats of the UF and UT guys. When your QB's career TDs thrown is less than the MS ST recruit did in one year... Ouch.

HS offenses and competition vary wildly, so comparisons are haphazard at best, but Carlos Del Rio was ruled ineligible after changing schools and had to change schools a second time just to play at all his Senior year.

Just being honest, I think he's a depth chart guy and actually think the 2nd QB in the class (Jalen Kitna) is the guy to watch after AR15. Kid put up some numbers when he transferred to play for his daddy - 2500/35/3 in 10 games in Texas 5A. Dad was an NFL QB and kid seems to be a student of the game and could easily be another Trask in the wings waiting for his shot.

Illinios, the worst state in the union, did not play football this year but as a JR Tyler Macon had 4200 yards, 71% completions 39TD/7INT

Add in 800 yards rushing and another 17 TD on the ground

NOT BAD
