1. Miami (6-0) — survived FSU 43-35 in 2OT; only unbeaten left from the old top 3
2. Ohio State (6-1) — won 19-15 at No. 5 Indiana
3. BYU (6-0) — beat No. 2 Notre Dame 28-24
4. Notre Dame (6-1) — road loss to a top-10 team, so a modest drop
5. Texas Tech (6-0) — handled Arizona State 53-25
6. Georgia (6-1) — home loss to unranked Auburn, 27-24, will cost them more than ND's loss
7. Indiana (6-1) — lost close to OSU; minimal drop
8. Ole Miss (5-1) — crushed No. 13 Missouri 31-3
9. Utah (6-0) — leading Colorado 10-0 in the 2nd quarter; assumes they finish
10. Tennessee (6-1) — 26-10 over No. 6 Alabama earns a big jump from 14

Tennessee should be higher

And cheating arse Miami should be below BYU

3 of Arkansas' 4 losses are to top 10 teams that are collectively 18-2

That aTm loss is the real millstone around our neck

Tennessee should be higher than UGA. Not saying that Tennessee would beat UGA, but for the purposes of rankings, they should be higher

All of this.

LSU loses to Kentucky on the road in OT and drops 12 places. UGA loses at home to unranked Auburn in regulation and drops 5? Make that make sense.

Alabama at 5-2 likely lands around 11-12.

Texas probably can't be saved after two straight losses to unranked teams.

Lost on the road 2times very very close to the wire we have to make that jump and get these road wins against the refs and home crowd

Don't see any reason for Texas Tech to jump Ole Miss. ASU isn't really a quality win.

There’s a dog week every year where all the top teams lose weird games to under dawgs. If you lose that week you dodge a bullet.

Ole Miss got blown out 52-28 by Florida. Texas Tech is unbeaten. A lopsided loss should cost more than a soft schedule

Not an awful list. Not sure Tennessee will be in top ten. Texas Tech might be 3. Man they have a sweet spot. They have some buying power for players and play in a half assed conference. Down side is….them. Lubbock? Town went to shite when Buddy Holly died.

When Notre Dame, Indiana, Bama, and Texas all lose the same day, Georgia only has so many teams to fall behind. LSU lost in a normal week, when everyone around them won.

Yes I believe they all lost to an underdog. Theres a week like that every year, if you lose that week you basically dodge a bullet
