Here's why:

Memphis is the closest significant town to the geographic center of all the campuses in the conference both when no enrollment weighting is used and when an enrollment weighting is used to determine the center of the conference.

Autozone park is built to MLB standards with only the good seats, plenty big enough. Memphis has an airport and some actual entertainment.

bama boys, the days of you running the SEC are very rapidly coming to an end. The SEC has added some schools that are much larger and have a helluva lot more money. You are smoking strong stuff if you expect to keep calling the shots.

We care…relatively speaking. But to think it’s some Bama conspiracy theory to keep the SEC tourney in Birmingham is laughable.

The League's head coaches all love playing at Hoover because its field is similar to the field at Omaha. It's not leaving any time soon. No fan of anything to do with Alabama but if the coaches want to play there, it should be a no brainer to stay there.

On one hand, sure... everything you said.

On the other hand, Memphis.

Memphis would be a very bad choice … and I live in Tennessee.

Good food. Good people. Good location.

Always funny to see these big bad gun toting tough guys afraid of a major US city with a metro population of 1,000,000+

Same type of puss that goes to Reddit asking if they’ll be safe driving down Poplar one time

ETA: (you won’t, you’ll die, stay far away, much danger!)

Of course Tranny T would love for the tournament to be moved out of a nice suburb(Grew up in and live in Riverchase/Hoover area currently myself) to Memphis so he can be raped and infected with God knows what.

I can’t imagine being afraid of going to any city in The United States of America so whatever point you’re going for isn’t registering

If you’re afraid of an American city I can’t imagine how you’d be in an actual dangerous place.

Imagine going on the internet to brag about never leaving your shitty little hometown. We are seriously impressed

No ones afraid to defend themselves. But why would any intelligent person voluntarily put themselves in a situation where they know that nonsense is going to arise, not to mention facing jail time from liberal judges for defending yourself and family by taking out the trash. These streets could be cleaned up pretty quickly if it weren't for that.

You are easily the biggest parasite and worst poster on this site.

You don’t even care about college baseball. Nick Saban just fricked your mind and you’re all about Alabama in every way.

Is there an Auburn fan in this thread complaining about it being in Birmingham? There is isn’t there?

You don’t have to imagine. Heck, you don’t have to imagine never leaving your mom’s basement. And sorry about that loud banging coming from upstairs earlier. The good news is you may have a sibling in about 9 months.
