He must have driven through AU after the UGA game.

Honestly, i dont really feel pressure to win with a 1st year coach. For now, I'm happy to be playing meaningful football in November.

I think those stats are pretty misleading simply because Bama has played the tougher schedule thus far. Both teams have holes, but both can be very difficult to beat if they play a complete game. It should be a good game.

Or through Athens, the week before.

Probably a good call on the score. Ga has shown how to beat this version of Bama. Your d coordinator should copy it 100%.

I think this is a terrible matchup for us, honestly. As you say, unless we magically transform back into the team we were four weeks ago, our best bet is for Leavitt to throw several interceptions to keep us in it. Barring that, this is one we could lose by 2-3 scores.

We'll definitely be closer to the team we were 4 weeks ago, but it won't be from magic, but from getting back important pieces on both sides of the ball from injury.

Commit blatant PIs, facemasks, and targeting and hope it doesn't get called?

You can't blame officiating and/or injuries.

Only LSU fans are allowed to do that.

Should be a good game. Of course I thought 2024 was going to be a good game and then Jalen Milore did his Shaun Alexander impression.

This seems highly unlikely.

LSU isn't going to be able to pound you in the running game like Tennessee. LSU is more of a finesse team on offense.

And, I think Bama's offense has plenty enough firepower to get to 30.

I think this is a pickem type of game if both teams play well. If we get bad Bama or bad LSU it's possible the other team runs away with it. But, LSU has been playing better and both teams are coming off a bye week. I just think it's going to be a war.

I think there's a decent chance this game might display the best football we've seen this year in the conference.

Milroe was a RB playing QB.

Good thing we have much better and much more capable players now!

True, but our DC that night ,who is also the current DC NEVER adjusted his defense that night. NEVER. And this was two weeks after we helped introduce the SEC to Marcel Reed.

If Alabama gets hot early I hope Baker will adjust his defense this go around.

If I am Baker, I am blitzing the shite out of Keelon, and hoping that Grubb still hasn't installed any blitz beaters or quick throws or anything like that.

Baker is like that nursery rhyme, "when he is good he's very, very good. When he's bad he's horrid." I like Baker but sometimes he's "too clever" for his own good. I'm sure you were watching the Ga-Ala game but on Kentucky's last possession of regulation they had the ball on their own 35 or so with 3rd and 10. Of course they were going to go for it on 4th down, but he hold them here I like LSU's chances. Baker comes out with some insane defensive "Power-I' with 4 guys lined up single file behind the NG. Then the defense on the two point try for UK goes without saying. I know he didn't signal in "part the Red Sea," but part of being a DC is getting your players to understand what do.

LSU has the athleticism on the edges to keep outside containment and one area where Russell has room to grow is recognizing when to step up in the pocket, pull the ball down, and take what the defense is giving ya.

How is Alabama's Center situation looking? It'll be hard to step up in the pocket if the center is getting punked on the reg.

This game will come down to one thing, Bama's injury report later this week.

If you see these names off the report: Ryan Coleman-Williams, Racin Delgatty, Terrance Green, Zabien Brown, EJ Crowell, London Simmons, it'll be a tight and entertaining game.

If most of them are on the Injury report, LSU should win by 2 or 3 possessions.
