I've seen several of his Tweets reposted here, as if he's a reputable source of information or something. It appears as though he's a former Ole Miss staff who either left, or wasn't retained under Kiffin, and now has some kind of personal axe to grind.

Anyway, here's one of his recent declarations -

Yo Brennon, maybe it's not being mentioned anywhere because that specific probation period ended 3 years ago.

quote:

Since LSU self-imposed penalties related to all three violations (vacating 37 wins in which Alexander played, banning Beckham from its facilities for two years, a 2020 postseason ban, vacating eight scholarships, a $5,000 fine), the NCAA Independent Resolution Panel handed down a 3-year probation for Tiger football.

The kicker? The probation is back dated and ends Sept. 21, 2023 -- three months from yesterday.

Here he is, bragging about himself:

quote:

Before taking over as General Manager, I spent nearly a decade in college football as Assistant Director of Player Personnel at Ole Miss. My job was to recruit talent, manage relationships, and help guide young men in one of the most competitive environments in sports: the SEC.

I worked under Hugh Freeze, who showed me how to outwork the competition and connect with people in meaningful ways. I also served under Matt Luke, who modeled how to lead with steadiness and heart during some of the toughest seasons our program ever faced.

One moment that sticks with me happened after the 2019 Egg Bowl. A penalty on a game-tying touchdown led to a loss and the firing of our entire staff. But instead of placing blame, I called the player involved, Elijah Moore, and told him what I believed.

“It’s not your fault. There was a lot that went into it. You doing that didn’t get everybody fired.”

That moment was later quoted by The New York Times, but to me, it wasn’t about publicity. It was about doing what was right. That’s how I lead. Protect your people. Tell the truth. And do what’s right even when it’s hard.

If I remember correctly, you grew up in MS. If you've spent a significant amount of time here, you know how delusional that fanbase is. It's really unparalleled.

Three years of probation to run from the conclusion of the probationary period assigned as part of the NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions Decision No. 567 currently set to conclude September 21, 2023.

I think he read the above and took it to mean the three years began at the "conclusion" – which was indicated as 2023.

Apparently this particular litany of violations leveled against LSU football was backdated, so after self-vacating 37 wins, a postseason, etc., the probation ended right around when it began?

He's clearly wrong, but that's pretty confusing verbiage by the IARP regardless.

He literally wrote out his attack on the facts. Do you not know how to read or do you get distracted easily?

Relax it’s just a twitter poster. You are tuned up to the max over this shite. Your organs are going to give out at this rate if you live and die by kiff’s bs masquerades.

We’re only 10 days into September

I'm betting Kiff's public masquerades will be muzzled for a while. LSU is going to have to show a semblance of contrition to de-escalate tensions.
