We're Alabama. If we say TTSIO is a meaningful rivalry, it is.

It's the only title that matters to ME. it's the only championship won on the field and has zero human biased and has zero to do with popularity. It's why , to me, Bama's 22 SEC titles are far more impressive than their 9 national titles.

Over the course of six years, Tennessee has led Alabama for 9 minutes and 52 seconds. That's out of a possible total of 360 minutes. Conversely, Alabama has held the lead against UT for 350 minutes and 8 seconds.

This is why Gumps will fight until the bitter end for this rivalry to continue.

The Kansas/Miz rivalry is just as relevant as bama/UT. To their fans. Which is the same for bama/UT. Outside those 4 states, no one really cares bout either rivalry. So, in that context, one is as relevant as the other. But I'd place UGA vs Fla as being as relevant,in the SEC for damd sure. Everyone in college football has heard bout the Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party in Football. I have no issues at all over bama's bragging about the UT game & its tradition. The rest of the league is just tired of it screwing up the schedule every yr for the other conference teams.

Huh? We've only played TTSIO for close to a hundred years. Regardless, some rivalries are worth preserving. Maybe the solution is to move Bama to the East. I'm not saying do that but I'm sure folks, especially LSU types, would scream to high heaven how that's not fair (East is usually easier). I know some Auburn fans posted here how they would love to move to the East, for good reason.

TWLCP hasn't really been a competitive rivalry either. Doesn't Florida hold a tremendous advantage, especially over the last 20 years or so? It's a great rivalry but pales historically to TTSIO. Keep it just because it's easier to schedule around? No way...

Auburn could most to the East and play UGA every year, Tenn could move to the West and play Bama every year. I don't see what is so difficult about this. But the scheduling as it stands right now is f'd and its on account of your shitty "rivalry" that no one cares about except Bama and the SEC office.

You maybe right. I was hoping for some UT fan support on the topic but looks like they've disappeared.

Obviously, I want to play Tennessee every year and not because they're struggling right now. If keeping TTSIO on the schedule means either team has to move to the same division, I'm for it.

And I don't think Alabama and Auburn will ever be separated by division. They'll continue to play each other EVERY year. If not, we're back to the same problem as scheduling TTSIO, right?

Its no use arguing about it anymore. The game is going to happen for at least one more year...we can only pray for the 9 game SEC schedule or some other shift starting in 2014

just like Alabama fans "dealt with it" in 2010 when six teams had bye weeks before them

I love how hypocritical Bama fans are

You're off topic again but it was SIX teams. PROOF for 18

Can you imagine the meltdown if LSU had six teams with bye weeks before facing them?

im not off topic...im just saying LSU fans have a right to complain about the schedule just as Alabama fans did

but we are being told "deal with it" while you got a new rule implemented for bitching about it

so either you should have just "dealt with it" or allow other fans to complain about their schedule (like I said before, this is two years of bridge scheduling due to conference expansion and protecting two rivalry games)

saying "deal with it" is a childish way of trying to prove your point of an argument is all I was getting at
