They are building a LoIC case against LSU obviously. Comments such as the "cold gumbo" comment are not going to weigh in LSU's favor. Now that they have asked for a continuance in the federal case and kicked the can on the Chancellor's meeting, they are clearly waiting to see more gloating from the LSU administration and LSU is playing right into their hands.

What "conspiracy theory?" This is clearly what's happening. Notice how they didn't say that the matter was finished. Just that they'll continue discussions. If the matter was resolved they would frickin say so.
