I worked on call 24/7 for 30 yrs. When you basically have to keep a go bag at all times in your house so you have all your shower supplies and extra clothes cause you’ll be gone for about 2 1/2 days when the phone rings. Going to work between 11 PM and 4 AM at times forces you to eat what you could find. Especially called out of the hotel. I premade some meals but if I worked for 12 plus hours which was normal one meal didn’t cut it. We averaged about 10-15 hrs at home between trips. Tough life

Well hell I miss having the east and west in the SEC. Now I have to get use to not a 4 not a 12 but 24 team playoff? I miss the old days dam.

This is funny. I remember when I was younger I would be batting hit it to the fence and can’t run can’t even crawl it was excruciating. Thought I was the only one with slomo dreams never talked about it till now.

Personally I’ve never liked the idea of travel ball. Show my age I grew up with parents paying a non refundable $35 fee for baseball. We had a draft if your name wasn’t called you didn’t play that summer. All stars were chosen at the end of the year and if you won state then you got to travel. It was all earned. I loved it miss playing it was my life for 17 yrs.
Yes! My daughter (no pics) has had it for about 8 days taken antibiotics and still having issues. Hasn’t been fun for us. Good luck brother

I was on call 24/7 for my whole career any schedule would have been a blessing.
One thing I’ve noticed and it’s refreshing as hell. Every week we are getting better last year we were regressing. I like this team a lot lots of potential and road wins are tough to come by but we stay focused and execute we win! Lane does have them focused. Geaux Tigers!

I had the same job for 30 years. If it makes good money and provides your family with what you need stick it out. I’ll give you a tip from an old dude. When you leave the company it’s about like graduating. You won’t see many of these people ever again. Keep your family close and enjoy them. No one is promised tomorrow. Hang in there and good luck!

Another thing I remember growing up. Where have all the drug commercials gone? Remember the egg and this is your brain? Also bring back Mcgruff the crime dog. If kids don’t learn early just like discipline they could get off on the wrong track early or eventually.
Pray for all these families. I’m going to talk to my kids bad thing is I think they know about these damn drugs way before us parents do.

Apparently y’all are happy with him. We are happy with who we have and I think it’s okay for fanbases to criticize certain aspects at times. But at the end of the day we are all fans and deserve to support our own teams. Good game good luck with the rest of the season.
