If you are talking about the couple of statements in the lawsuit, that is laughable as well. They know it and it’s probably one reason that delayed the court hearing.

I expect they will amend their suit again and narrow the scope of it. Probably change their damages sought after. LSU caved to their demands after all. But the crux of the issue there is still the question of whether the SEC has the autonomy to guide their own conference or be held to the whims of the courts on a case by case basis. This will still run its course through the courts. Separately Sankey is going to try to punish LSU.

LMAO, that was a pathetic effort.
First of all, LSU didn't "enlist" players to sue anyone.
Secondly, most of the national media has been able to see the truth about Sankey.
Thirdly, the LSU brand is the hottest in college football.
Take off those stained Mizzou glasses and make an attempt to see the light.

LSU caved? I know that’s a talking point, but not exactly accurate. LSU and Kiffin never said “we are rostering these players.” Consistently they said they would review court decisions AND SEC rules. They chose wisely.
Now, I’m in agreement that the SEC is trying to get control of the state court cases. The problem they face is selective prosecution that they have done. Chambliss is playing via a state TRO that the SEC chose to let it be. If they want to exercise authority, you have to do it consistently or they will have problems.
Lastly, Sankey wants to sanction LSU, yes he does. His problem is the that SEC bylaws are very specific on when a coach can be suspended and that involves violating a NCAA or SEC rule. No one has pointed to a specific violation. No one.
People don’t like that Kiffin advocated for these players but that’s not a violation. Ole Miss advocated for Chambliss. Vandy advocated for Pavia. Both went to court. It’s not a violation.
IMO. Cooler heads are prevailing and the SEC realizes that suspending Kiffin is going to be tough to justify.
