For Mizzou: OL on offense and LB on defense. LB is the deepest overall. WR is also shaping up to be pretty deep, despite the lack of experience.

Linebacker for Vandy. Quite a few versatile guys who I'm excited to see how they step up.

Not saying Murray will be bad but you guys have anointed a 5'10 175 pound QB that played on a stacked HS team that far outclassed opponents at every position

This is not true. Allen has some good players, but, outside of Murray and Little, they aren't THAT special. I was on the sideline when they knocked my high school out of the playoffs last year. The defensive game plan was to keep him from rushing for 200 yards like he did against some opponents and make him beat us with his arm. Unfortunately, he obliged. We kept him in check on the ground, but then he proceeded to drop 424 yards passing on us. If HS played 15 minute quarters instead of 12, that would've easily been over 500. Y'all fricked. He's smaller, but actually better than Johnny.

QB - I mean we may have a backup that had started double digit games and has won a bowl game!

DL

I think we are around 10.

Best top to bottom DL we've had in the last 15-20 years

LB, DB, OL and RB, WR are looking pretty deep after some questions about depth over the summer.

I'd also add QB's. But like the WR's, inexperienced. Of course, Mauk has experience.

DL is thin, no doubt. We cannot afford injuries here.

Basically, everywhere except DL, and even that looks to be OK.

dline - ashawn robinson, jarran reed, darren lake, jonathan allen, dalvin tomlinson, dj pettway, dashawn hand, josh frazier, oj smith, daron payne, johnny dwight. thats a pretty solid collection of talent. when in a 4 man front you can add tim williams, rashaan evans, denzell devall, ryan anderson, and dillon lee. basically 3 full lines of top talent

Allen High School's football stadium holds over 20,000 people. Let that sink in.

QB. Kyler Murray would start at any other school in the SEC as a true freshman outside of Miss State.

Murray appears to be a potential stud, but I can think of at least 4 other SEC schools where he wouldn't start this year:

Bama: not saying he's less talented than our QBs, but I seriously doubt Saban will be starting a true freshman at QB, especially one who couldn't enroll early...

Auburn: JJ is entrenched there as Gus is all in on him...and if JJ unexpectedly underperforms, Sean White would be up next before Murray...

Tennessee: They're high on Dobbs and the offense is designed around him...

Arkansas: Brandon Allen was one of the most efficient QBs in the SEC last year...Arky's strong rushing offense is designed around a game managing QB that minimizes mistakes and Allen fits that mold...and they're not going to change their offensive philosophy in that short a timeframe for Murray...

Update on Arkansas' once (first?) in a lifetime depth on the defensive line.

Last in the conference in sacks

8th in the conference in TFLs

That's generational production there.
