Also, Ole Miss stoned uga last season. Uga isn't better this season than they were last season, are they?

Ole Miss, particularly their defense, was immensely better last season than they are this season and that game was at Oxford not to mention Kirby’s on record saying last season was his most difficult as a coach despite they won the SEC.

I actually do think Georgia’s better this season than last, as insane as it might appear for me to say this: how they performed both against Tennessee and Alabama even in an L at home nevertheless reinforced my belief in them entering the season. I think their run game’s way better, I think Gunner plays more complimentary football than Carson did last year. I think Georgia’s DBs will only get stronger as the season progresses as will their WRs. I truly believe this is a football team that meets whatever challenge or adversity they face and will be a formidable playoff contender.

I can see Bama destroying Vandy. Their best win is a terrible South Carolina team

And I swear if LSU loses to yall at home at night, talk about a trainwreck, that would be just sad and demoralizing

I reluctantly have Bama playing complimentary passing football and ball control and covering the spread in a solid way or not covering the spread but still winning. Would love a Vandy win though.

Vandy should and will try and play keepaway. Hope for a Bama turnover and put maximum scoreboard pressure on...much like last season.

I think Bama gets up early, but Vandy will fight back throughout the game to tie it for OT.

Vanderbilt is a paper tiger who is only ranked highly because the beat a SC team without Sellars for most of the game and a bad Virginia Tech team. Pavia is a good quarterback but Alabama is good enough defensively to limit his effectiveness.

I don't know what aggravates me the most. The fact we are horrible at stopping the run or that Vanderbilt is not a give me win.

You have no shot this year away. WHY? Because you beat them last year (with a few questionable calls like an int. fir a RD that was obvious P.I.). Bama will score 60, Vandy about 24.

Bama played two teams on the road, and both like to run in different ways. FSU's QB was dangerous, UGA's RBs were big and strong, Vandy will be lucky to get 100 yards rushing.

Our football team is trending up. Most of the fans are still basking in the absolute most dominant run in college football history.

That's fair enough!

Bama fans are confident but I see this being a real back and forth game.

Except for the 2 cupcakes, we no longer have any rent-a-wins (like Arkansas, Ole Miss or State). Sigh.

Georgia's run game just had its best performance in the last year and a half. Georgia had two passes to really really wide open receivers 40-50 yards down the field against Alabama for the first two times all season.

“Vandy scored 21 points directly from 2 turnovers and a penalty on a punt and won by 5.

Seems like you are only remembering the scoreboard which is fine because that's all that matters in the end, but let's not pretend Vandy wasn't extremely fortunate last season.”

Vandy also dominated the LOS on the last drive and ran out clock effectively denying Alabama any opportunity to get the ball back. It was no fluke. Vandy dominated the Line of Scrimmage. The margin quite frankly felt larger than 5 points. They were clearly the better team.

I am interested in seeing how Pavia and the Vandy Offense respond when being down by a couple of scores. Will they feel the pressure, if any?

It absolutely was no fluke, Vandy clearly pushed Bama’s shite in last year. I am sure it was coming off the Georgia win last year and taking Vandy literally for granted as an auto W and then getting into the game and realize these dudes came to play. I think they were off a bye last year too and probably circled this game. Given our issues with run D and a mobile QB, I am nervous merely because FSU used that same blueprint. Granted this is a payback game and Bama is in no way looking past Vandy this time but that clearly doesn’t give me a warm fuzzy feeling except knowing Bama is in much better shape to sustain drives with Ty instead of Milroe. I think that is indeed the X factor of this game. Bama merely imposes their will but Vandy is gonna score. I think we score about 14 more.

We don't really know how good Vandy is, or isn't. That Murderer's Row they've faced...if Bama and Vandy exchanged schedules anyone care to guess what the records would be going into this game?

Would Vanderbilt have beaten that FSU team playing at home in the opener?

Wisconsin if healthy on defense is hard to run on.

I don't think anyone would have picked them on the road vs UGA last week.

Indeed I think theres a high probability we are looking at an unbeaten Alabama vs twice beaten Vanderbilt. and no Gameday in TTown.

OK. But the facts still remain the same.
BAMA gave up 14 points off turnovers. They lost by 5.

One was a pick 6. Pick 6. Lost by 5.

So, it sounds like you just didn't watch the game.
