Did you read it? And not cringe? It wasn’t simply a Christian posting a prayer on a message board. It was a Christian posting a prayer on a message board asking for God to help their flailing sports team, thanking him for their “Clemson family” and asking for unity among the fans.

That’s freakin weird, dude.

There seem to be some folks offended by the notion that the post in the OP is cringey.

It’s the equivalent of you going to the Movies & TV board on TigerDroppings and posting an open prayer for God to guide your Netflix selection, thanking him for the ability to watch TV, asking him to bless the actors and producers of all the shows, and requesting unity for your family to agree on the same show.

Ain’t nobody blasting the dude for praying. The content and decision to post it publicly is the cringey part.

Looks like a Christian posting a prayer on a message board.

Not seeing what's so cringe about that.

The prayer never mentions Christ, it never mentions Grace, it never actually mentions anything specifically Christian, it is just begging Yaweh for a better football team.

As soon as I beat this hangover I will be posting mid afternoon. I drunk a bunch of George Dickel last night got sick threw up had a few more late and have been suffering since 1 am. My wife made me sleep in the guest room. She will be pissed off because I did not take Buford the cat to the vet about him being overweight and his yearly shots. His appointment was a 8:30 in Foley. I will probably head to Fort Walton later today to avoid her going wild about the cat not going to the vet and do some pier fishing at Narvarre. Then spend the night at my uncles he is an old drunk he don't care.

I dobut that this is true, but I really want it to be true.

One poster legitimately was asking if anyone else thought LSU might've used voodoo to win
That’s crazy. Wonder what midwestern magic OSU used last year...

The idea that the creator of the Universe gives two shits who wins at football is an idea I find deeply amusing.

The deal about the cat will cost me dearly. I have already gotten flowers ready over the cat deal.

George Dickel made me sickest I have been in 5 years. I will never drink it again. I tasted it again this morning.

Gamecock fans have been trying to tell yall. We get we suck at football, but we know how weird they are in Clemson.

I heard Jesus prefers to bet on the ponies, but the Holy Ghost is all about the NFL.
