For UF anyway. I know some of you have been in this drag for a while. The first football game can't come fast enough.

What do you guys do during this depressed time?

Laugh at Florida fans

ETA: But seriously, I try not to think of football.

UF doesn't have enough die hard fans for this to be a boring part of the year.

Show up during the sports seasons then you might get bored while you're at the beach.

I'll try have as much fun as possible. Go fishing, hit some water parks, go on a nice vacation. Just a few things to get my mind off of football season to hurry up and get here. The more you want it to come the slower it will get here

I wouldn't want to think about football either if I had to deal with the likes of Anthony Jennings or Harris.

Nah I just want to savor the downtime before our undefeated national championship run. Calm before the storm, buddy.

Yep, that time of the year. Also the time of year where everyone thinks their football team is going to do great things during the season.

It's also great not thinking about people like you's unfortunate existence, which is worse

During June, I read some miscellaneous books I've been putting off (this year it was Greg Iles and the Jerry Lee Lewis biography by Rick Bragg). Made a two week trip to Seattle, Canada, and Alaska earlier in the month.

During July, I read some sports/football related books (this year it will be King of Sports by Greg Easterbrook, Pay for Play about NCAA reform, and Friday Night Lights), gnosh on the Media Days stuff, and make a visit or two to the CFB Hall of Fame. Might make a few day trips to Savannah or Chattanooga while I have the time.

Come August, everything levels out as practice starts and I begin making tailgating arrangements and weekend plans (getting food lists together, head counts on out of town guests, etc.).

ETA: Only way I'm bothering to see the Braves this year is if I'm given tickets. My heart is just not in it with this team.
