For Alabama it’s Jaylen Waddle, but this thread was actually inspired by seeing Toney from Florida. I’ve never seen a guy change direction so fast.

Who’s the lightning in a bottle guy on your team?

Anthony "Flash" Swartz, the fastest player in football

Shaun "Worm" Shivers, just about a step behind him. Both homerun threats anytime they touch the ball

Kart Vincent by far. He plays defense though.

Although I'm hearing this Stingley kid is pretty fast. Also on defense.

On offense, it's probably Emery.

Yep. Swartz has a larger body of work. I'm not the only one to state that he is the fastest. Don't shoot the messenger.

The reason people say Swartz is the fastest is because he was the fastest coming out of HS and he got all the hype that comes with it. At this point it’s really a tossup between him and Vincent IMO.

He didn't. LSU fans keep trying to claim a wind aided time for him. His actual listed PR is much less

Probably Elijah Moore. I think he will have a pretty good year for Ole Miss

Quick-twitch and straight line speed are 2 entirely different things, just for the record.

Exactly, it is agility vs speed. Of course my madden teams also seem to have a couple players that are 99 in both

UF has had plenty of guys with great straight line speed but I don't think UF has had someone as quick twitch as Toney. Maybe Rainey, Brandon James or Jacquez Green

John Emery will get more playing time to show his ability and it may be him, but I think Trey Palmer will see the field some as a freshman and be right there with Emery with regards to speed, twitch, and big play ability.

Toney is incredible. He will be given the ball a lot this year.
