What dumbasses put Miami over Oregon?

I bet the two people who picked FSU sure feel embarrassed

While I agree that Alabama is a great job, due to facilities, $$, support, current lack of booster overstepping...etc.
I think fan expectations take it out of the #1 job post Saban.
When Saban retires, Bama will have had 5 HoF coaches, and the 2 greatest coaches in history. I would HATE to follow that. And I feel sorry for the next guy.

I wouldn't touch the Texas job with a 40 foot pole. That job is poison. Irrationally high expectations and the head coach has no real power. It's like being the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. You're a puppet not a leader.

What great program is a shitty job and what shitty job is at a great program?

Yep.
Only LSU has proven that it can consistently win national titles, no matter the head coach.

Alabama got 9 5th place votes

A lot of those teams have been mediocre for a long time. Miami, FSU, USC, Michigan, and Texas.

Bama has proven that if you are elite you can win multiple titles.

Texas with 11 first place votes is odd.

You could make an argument for most of the teams on that list but who in the fresh hell thinks Northwestern is the fifth best job in college football?
It's closer to fifth in it's division than it is to fifth in the country.

Not only that, their vote total adds up to 98, meaning there are at least 3 idiots who didn't have them in their top 5

Wish LSU had gotten 3 more first place votes.

Probably someone from Northwestern

One person is really selling Pat Fitzgerald short saying Northwestern is a Top 5 job.

And yet y’all have coach O.
Yeah, that's part of the reason LSU is ranked so high. Kige would have a decent chance at winning a title.
