Yeah I guess us not being a. Complete team we will be in and out of polls the rest of this year I just hope we beat one of the last 3 Oklahoma, uga, Kentucky all those games seem tough

I notice you wouldn't post your own rankings.
Alabama has loses to the AP #5 and #11 and a win over #12.
Alabama also has wins over USC and Miss St. Who both have wins over ranked teams and are borderline on being top 25. Miss St mostly fell out because they lost their QB.
So even if you want to go by ranked wins.
Ole Miss: Wins over #18 and #22
Georgia: Win over #13
Tennessee: Win over #13
Kentucky: Win over #18
LSU: 0 ranked wins.
Alabama: Win over #12
So Alabama has the best win.
Which highlights how stupid just looking at just the wins is. Because in reality, Georgia and Tennessee have the best win, and that's because they beat Alabama.
The correct formula is to use power rankings and give people points for the power of the teams they beat and subtract points for the power of teams that lose. AKA taking wins and losses both into account.

I think the FIRST (of many) problem is Miami BYU at 1 & 2.
Miami hasn’t beaten a ranked opponent. BYU, though impressive aaaaaand undefeated, is just not the 2nd best team in America.
Fix that, and then we can talk about what’s left.
So … AP poll of sports reporters …. Not even close to valid anymore when they all don’t follow the game, have AI write their copy, fed lines from a teleprompter on TV shows.
We need a better pool of voters. Isn’t there a ranking based on fan voting or something?

An unranked FSU takes Miami to double OT at home and is now #1? But Auburn isn’t even top 25?

Really? You need an explanation as if it weren't obvious enough. OK here it goes. Yes Texas losses are worse with the OU debacle. However those loses where by 6 total pts and the OU game ended with a walk off field goal. Now lets talk about wins. Texas has wins against the current #3 team and #11 team (on the road). Auburn has one big win against UGA. Also if you understand polls you'd know there isn't a complete reset each week. I don't make the rules. It'll shake out next week. If Auburn beat LSU and Texas loses to Ole Miss you'll surely get your wish. Any questions let me know.
