I am not siding with Georgia in the least - BUT - AJC is a laughable, liberal rag I wouldn't read for free

It's a bad look, players doing whatever the hell they want. Reminds me of certain stories under Les. All is okay if you're winning, until you're not (frick you, les).

Yeah, I think we all did.

F. King was such a POS. I still can't believe how long he lasted at LSU. That alone shows how awful of a state Louisiana is, politically.

maybe recently, but ill never forget UF for not suspending that kid during the carolina week in 07 or 08, and he blocked the game winning FG. He sat the next week against some trash school
but yeah, UGA has some serious issues going on that they need to address. If Smart knew about a rape and did nothing (as ive seen reported in places) then thats a serious issue and basically what Briles got in trouble for

No reputable news source has suggested this.
ETA: Adam Anderson was immediately kicked off the team when the university was informed of the incident. That can’t be stressed enough, even if the AJC wants to talk around that.

No different than what USA Today did with LSU
while ignoring actions lsu did take
Get ready for the lawsuits coming from the victims

Look, I hate the AJC, but aren't we killing the messenger rather than listening to the message? The AJC has been going after UGA since the car crash, yes. But does that matter if they are producing fact, the article about all the players speeding and getting away with warnings when you and I would be sitting in jail was factual and displayed just how out of control players and the police are in Athens.
Taking pictures of having sex with a girl who is passed out drunk is disgusting and there should actually be rape charges against that player. What if it was your daughter, sister, or friend?

I doubt it in the Jarrett case the AJC article is based on. She was 20 while the accused was 16 at the time of the incident, and she even said it was at least initially consensual. It would not be hard for that to get twisted into a statutory rape situation.

In a single weekend, a 16-year-old University of Georgia football recruit broke curfew, drank with potential teammates in an Athens bar and ended up in a police station, under investigation for sexual assault.
Georgia signed him, anyway.
It appears that Kirby is going the Urban Meyer route. Where's Meyer?

Well at least they finally moved on from how the Braves would "fail" leaving Atlanta.

Yep, glad we've got a man of law and order like Brian Kelly.
He's also the only coach that can salvage the SEC's reputation having been sullied by the likes of Saban and Smart.

I think it's more that Alexander and Alleva were just incompetent and cowardly. They knew they needed to fire Les after the Taylor-Porter investigation, but Les had the support of the governor and a lot of fans, so they kept quiet.
Alexander and Alleva thought they had a political future, but you need a fricking spine for that.

Have you seen the articles about the district attorney in Athens-Clarke County not prosecuting cases? There's currently a writ of mandamus lawsuit against her trying to force her to bring cases.
She's also the only prosecutor in GA to have been found to be in violation of Marsy's Law.
She also dismissed a rape case claiming that she couldn't find the victim only for the woman to come forward sending the case back to a hearing for a judge to overturn the dismissal.
But yeah, it's a university/coach problem.
They can't play if they are in prison.

Is that the same dumb bitch that is afraid to go to Watkinsville because of white supremacists?

I disagree with her ideology and think that she is doing a horrible job, but I wouldn't term her as dumb.
I have interacted with her numerous times and have never found her to be a "bitch" or anything close to it.
Yes, she has made comments along those lines about Watkinsville.

I'm struggling with those 2 comments so close together.

The same Georgia fans who will attack the AJC and defend the program are the same fans who blamed the crash on some deer. They will continue to make excuses for Kirby because their black and red glasses block common sense.
