We're not going to play those games and screw the other teams in our conference who had ACC matchups just because you put a bizarre poison pill into your rules. That isn't the way we operate.

TBH, I'm more pissed that this very likely effected the decision to go conference only than I am anything else because we didn't have an ACC matchup. We had one with OU but if the ACC is out and effects that many SEC games we all have to bite it.

you left out Clemson beating those SEC teams. it wasn't merely playing them. lol

Dabo is something like 17-10 against SEC opponents and almost a third of his wins are vs. South Carolina.

Meh.

Based upon the schedule released by the ACC, the OOC opponents haven't been announced.

This OP is pretty weak sauce.

Well the SEC said they aren’t doing any OOC games
And he was referencing BC. They play them at home now in the new schedule

SEC is superior to ACC top to bottom, shoot UK beat Louisville and VaTech last year, Aside from Clemsux, the ACC is down considerably.

Does LSU have a QB that can complete a forward pass on their roster this year? Asking for a friend.

I admire your courage in talking trash to a team that 6 months ago thrashed your beloved orange kittens up and down the field in route to the greatest season in CFB history.

why would ACC teams schedule those games in the first place if they wanted to duck them. your logic cancels itself.

The schools themselves didn't cancel those games. The ACC conference did. You know the conference doesn't make the ooc schedules right? The ACC conference is ducking if anyone is.(which I don't believe to be true)

I remember that. It was the game that UK sent their reserves and injured players out to start shite in the pregame while hoping to get our starters ejected by throwing punches and trash talking. The Stoops way. Pathetic and sad attempt to try and win a game

So...for those teams that don't have an ACC rival in-state...how would that have worked out if the SEC did a 10+1 schedule (with the in-state restriction the ACC put on their games)? The only teams that would have definitely had the additional in-state P5 games would have been:

Florida @ FSU
UGA vs GT
UK @ Louisville
USCe @ Clemson

This would be the other OOC games available to SEC schools:

Bama vs USC in Dallas...nope Out of State, so Bama would have to choose between Georgia State, Kent State or UT-Martin

Arkansas @ Notre Dame...nope, Out of State, so they would have to choose between Charleston Southern, Kent State or UL-Monroe

Auburn vs UNC in Atlanta...nope, Out of State, so they would have to choose between Alcorn State, Southern Miss and UMASS

LSU would be able to keep Texas (provided the Big-12 didn't adopt a similar plan, preventing their teams from traveling out of state for OOC games)

Ole Miss vs Baylor in Houston...Nope, Out of State...they would have to choose between SE Missouri State, MTSU and Georgia Southern

MSU @ NC State...Nope, Out of State...they would have to choose between New Mexico, Tulane and Alabama A&M

Missouri @ BYU...Nope, Out of State...they would have to choose between Central Arkansas, Eastern Michigan and UL-Lafayette

Tennessee @ Oklahoma...Nope, Out of State...they would have to choose between Charlotte, Furman and Troy

aTm would still be able to keep their game with Colorado (provided the Big-12 didn't adopt a similar plan, preventing their teams from traveling out of state for OOC games)

Vandy would still be able to keep their game with Colorado State (provided the Big-12 didn't adopt a similar plan, preventing their teams from traveling out of state for OOC games).

A plan like the ACC plan would benefit 4 SEC team schedules (possibly 7, depending on what the Big-12 decides to do). Everybody else would be scrambling to get an OOC game that actually makes sense to play.

The in-conference only schedule is the easiest to make equivalent for all SEC schools.

All trolling and bullshite aside, you’re saying that you genuinely believe that the ACC is a stronger conference than the SEC?

Speaking of logic cancelling itself, “why would SEC teams schedule those games in the first place if they wanted to duck them”? You’re tripping over your own trolls.

The only ACC-SEC game that the ACC would have won this year was Clemson-U of SC so I don't think the SEC chickened out. Only the chickens (gamecocks) from U of SC are glad these games were cancelled.
