Seriously, Dave Portnoy is such a douche.

Just be prepared that the book is as much a story as it is a political treatise. I read it when I was 19 or so, and it seemed at the time like a lot of straying from narrative to something else entirely.
I may have been too young to recognize how Hugo was attempting to weave in and out and tie everything together, but it felt overly complicated at times.

Did we get a competent Oline today that none of us are aware of?

Seems very possible.

World War Z needs an HBO miniseries version to do the book justice.

This. I would like to see a study done on the Thursday night games compared to Sundays - injuries, scoring, etc.
It’s the NATIONAL Football League, not international. If Europe and Mexico want football, great. Start leagues.

Is this like, "We have to pass the bill to see what's in it?"
Holy hell.
Holy hell.
Seriously, f you, Dallas

Needed 9 from Aubrey tonight for a win, and Dallas found multiple ways to make that not happen, including rushing him on the field for a 68-yard attempt.

Take care of business, and this isn’t likely a problem.

Still disappointed my college commencement speaker was this moron.

Over the last four years, yes. Historically, no.

Cool. Print the cups.
Vanderbilt is going to make a 12-team playoff before LSU
Posted by Michael T. Tiger on 10/26/25 at 9:27 am
Seems like that is enough grounds to justify termination.
re: Want quick change? Fan boycott of the remaining games

Sad that Tiger Band alumni continue to get stuck with a late season game against a subpar opponent and virtually no one in the stadium for the performance...and that's in good football years.

In some fashion maybe, but not the recent bullshite we’ve experienced.

Or what? I’m not trying to be flippant or argumentative about your statement. The reality is the product can be shite next year, too, and the piper is already paid.
This cycle only changes via regulatory action or fans finally saying enough and not paying.
The schools are getting more money than ever because of broadcasting contracts, and it’s STILL not enough. Coaches contracts are another driver of the issues.
re: Do you trust Woodward to make another hire?
Posted by Michael T. Tiger on 10/19/25 at 9:24 pm to The Hurricane
I don’t trust him to make the hire for football or basketball, and I don’t trust him to negotiate a contract that is in the interest of LSU.
Someone has to finally step up and say enough is enough with the bullshite contracts these agents are securing for coaches. It’s a different world with pay for play. This should no longer be a thing.

F that. Take it out of Woodward’s paycheck and retirement plan.

As much as LSU fleeces season ticket holders, I’m good with them getting whatever they can for games when the team is nowhere near meeting expectations. If we’re winning, that’s different, but LSU has turned this into a business transaction and no longer a pride in your school passion.
