The problem with McElwain is not the home losses, its the narrow victories against teams UF is used to blowing out.

They tend to cancel as many known home losses as possible to inflate their stats.

I assume he's only played Florida St and LSU at home once each?

This guy knows it. Mcelwain is not a Florida coach. A coach that would fit Florida better would probably be, believe it or not, Dabo or James Franklin.

James Franklin would be great at Florida.

Mac sucks. New coach needed, sadly he wins enough to get this year to continue sucking. Hopefully after Aggies and Georgia kill us, he gets actually hot seat talk from boosters. Right now these morons buy his excuses for losing.

Nightmare scenario for UF fans - get killed by UGA, beat everyone else, finish 9-3, 6-2 SEC. Mac easily way off the hot seat, but he would have likely beaten nobody once again.

the loss to LSU was the worst I have seen Fla play ever, it's as though no one on Fla's team wanted to win. The last "drive" was ill-conceived at best, at worst the team quit.

If you understand this, you understand the Les Miles situation that ended last year.

And for Miles, the narrow wins were turning into losses.

We are going to have to fire one of the coaches with the highest winning percentages in history.

It must be done.

Congrats to the LSU guys. What a great game, sort of.

A&M beat both Arky and USCe by 7.

A&M lost to UCLA by 1 and Bama by 8.

A&M/Florida will be a 5 point game.
