An embarrassing loss to our state rival brings us one step closer to finally flushing the turd that is David Pierce. The SEC is going to be cruel to us if we go into that league with this moron as our coach.
We have to fix our NIL issue with baseball first because we're not getting the players we used to but we have to start at the top. He has to go.
I'll say this ags you guys have a hell of a team this year I think you have a real shot at it.

I don’t get it.
I love college baseball and I hate pierce. It's a means to an end. I don't want to enter sec baseball with THAT guy at the helm. We'd be a bottom dweller until a change is made.

I for one can't believe how far Texas has fallen. Texas is usually a college baseball powerhouse. Not this sack of shite I see on my TV. God is so bad. We need a change yesterday.

I get your point, and I’ll give credit where credit is due. Very few programs have exhibited the decades of CWS appearances Texas has had.
That being said, Pierce is in a tough spot and he did have them in Omaha just two years ago.
I think the smart move is to sign him to a 10 year extension, but that’s just the Aggie in me.

Pierce got the shite out coached by in the 9th inning of the 2nd game vs Moo St in the 2021 CWS.
I was so angry when we fricking pinch ran for the Hispanic Titanic in a tie game winner take all scenario you literally pinch run for him then proceed to lay down a sacrifice bunt like WTF....
Either A) Don't pinch run and do the sac bunt or B) Pinch run and steal the base
Instead Moo State took the option B and wound up winning it all props to them.

What you’re saying is you hate your coach, but your A.D. cannot sack up and fire him. So you’re actually thanking your bitter rival to beat you in order for you to get better.

tough to fire a guy who's had the results Pierce has. paradoxically, he's actually done quite well at Texas despite being a horrible program builder. he just has a very clear ceiling that he will never break through.
dwindling fan support, aging facilities, we have guys on the roster that couldn't get a sniff from SEC programs. it's just bad. we need an overhaul of everything about the program.
so yes, while we never want to lose to TAMU. if we have to, I want them to do it like they did last night. we weren't competitive. hopefully that gets the attention of the guys who make the decisions.

for context for our SEC pals: Washington, a team from Seattle fricking Washington came down to Austin and beat Texas 9-3 tonight. We suck, bad. As frick. Our pitchers outside of LBJ throw BP and I can only take solace in the fact that UW beat us worse than LSU did, so ha ha ha Tigers! Bad times at the Disch.

and already losing 3-0 in the top of the 1st today haha. God this team is such shite. On the bright side hopefully this means we won't be entering the SEC with this asshat running the program....one can hope.
Unfortunately the big12 is shite at baseball so this team can still win some series and give our sunshine pumper fans some fools gold again. orange slices for everyone!
