Dodgers just took a 6-3 lead on Colorado.

Just a thread title. You can come up with the next one. Might as well play HSK at this rate. Barf.

Nah, you got it chief.

if it got rid of AA in the process.

Look at the post above you. We've got sycophants and bootlickers already trying to suck AA's dick, saying he did a good job at the deadline.

AA knows he has job security. He's been asleep at the wheel the second Freddie caught the final out in 2021 and we still have fans now still trying to parade him as one of the best GMs in baseball.

He's not going anywhere unfortunately.
This team is so fricking fraudulent.
Also, it's hilarious how OP was celebrating this as our "postseason lineup" like it meant something different.

The final four hitters in the order all had an OPS below .700 entering today, that's including Sean Murphy's OPS below .300
Minter (who we could've gone after instead of Brent Suter) just shoved it up the arse of the top of our order.

Fantastic job AA.

Random thought: What do y’all think of Dyland Dodd being used in a starter role if push came to shove? I’m talking 2 starters going down end of the season and we’re in a spot.

I don't think he would be markedly better or worse than any of the other losers we are penciling in around Sale right now, but who knows?

His biggest plague during his first foray as a starter was that his stuff wasn't good enough to consistently get guys out, particularly the second time through the order.

Like I've said before about him this season, he deserves a shite ton of credit for reinventing himself as a reliever. I thought he was dead in the water a year and a half ago.

just a blank stare from all the eyes

They're just following the lead AA set at the trade deadline.

Yeah I can't stand CJ Nitkowski.

He is easily one of the worst color commentators in the league.

You can tell how much more comfortable Gaudin is when Francouer is his booth partner.
But at least Kyle Tucker dropped a pop up, right guys?

Clearly we should have shown intention by trading 3 of our top 6 prospects for Hunter Greene like you wanted, we'd be way better off.

I would still take Greene throwing with his off-arm over the losers we are trotting out in our rotation right now.

AA acting like he was going to be a # 2 behind Sale -- given his pitch options and injury history was foolish.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we extended Strider before the Sale trade was made.

Maybe one day I’ll catch on. Hmm.

It's shocking how often you miss the point of the post you are responding to.

Is it willful ignorance because you are mad that people aren't as enthused about the Braves' season prospects as you are. Or do you really not understand the game and are just posting stats that you think support your argument?

I always thought it was the latter, but lately I'm beginning to think otherwise.

No one is saying Tucker and Diaz are doing well. If anything the fact that they are doing bad and the Dodgers are still ahead of the Braves shows just how behind the 8-ball we are once the postseason starts.
quote:

What was the other option? Casey Mize, deGrom and all these other "trade deadline superstars" folks wanted are injured or pitching poorly.

Ahhh, hindsight is always a great way to argue a point.

The option was show intention. We didn't do that.

Kinley DFA'd. AJSS starting tomorrow.

We ridin baws

The 0-23 streak is over more than one game. Hmm.

And the Dodgers are still ahead of us.... hmmm.

One day, you'll catch on. Not today unfortunately, but one day.
Not doing a good enough job considering the score.

Homie probably saw this facebook post from some 56-year-old couillon and thought "wait til I post this on tRant"
Smoke and mirrors arse team
Btw, Yaz was such a nothing signing.

I will say that Mahle has missed more bats than I thought he would. His splitter is nasty.

Give it time, unfortunately. His career numbers are what they are for a reason.

Not many cases where a career mediocre pitcher struggles midseason and then suddenly becomes a frontline starter type with a change of scenery. There will inevitably be a regression to the mean.
