Tommy C was in Titans Minicamp… used the courts to get a 5th year….

Big 12 going to allow this? Does he repay the money paid by the Titans during the minicamp?

Wake up people, happening at Texas and about to happen everywhere.

Basic question: what is definition of ‘NFL Player’.

Lastly, does SEC refuse to play teams that allow minicamp NFL players?

(1) he would be eligible under the SEC rules for the same reason the Texas OG and the LSU / ND transfer is eligible

(2) The Big 12 just voted on rules 5 minutes ago but the specific wording hasn't yet been released so we have no idea whether he remains eligible or is now ineligible in the Big 12.

Nope: didn’t remove his name from draft. Played for Titans and paid by Titans in minicamp.

Why do you insist on wanting to ruin college football for an out of shape DT and a TE who your TE is better than?

Like wtf is the point of this?
I thought the talent level was just different in Baton Rouge? Why is your roster in need of bolstering?

If these nfl players are make or break for your season you’re fricked.

Is it not clear that mini camp is ok but signed/paid isn’t?

As we've all been saying, this is happening everywhere across every sport. The NCAA and conference leaders need a scapegoat(s). Everyone already dislikes Kiffin and Wade. Why not make it look like they're the only ones doing it? It's just a distraction. The season can't get here soon enough.

You seriously have the gall to say we are ruining it?

Your 6th year QB was denied a wavier by the NCAA three separate times. Y’all then sued and brought into a local court to get a TRO, which was granted. I’d argue this all started because there is a double standard that is being applied to your QB specifically.
Once again… his 6th year. A TRO because of tonsillitis. Weakest shite I’ve ever heard of.

If these players participated in NFL mini-camps, wouldn’t that push them over the practice hour limits the ncaa allows for pre-season practice? Or do the ncaa practice rules not apply now?

You don’t get paid for rookie mini camps unless u sign a contract as a drafted or undrafted free agent. He tried out for the team but didn’t make it. The same as the guy from texas

Of course.

Because he didn't go pro. Seems pretty simple.

Are you considering the mini camps participation agreement to not be considered signing a professional contract?

I imagine he signed a Participation Agreement to attend minicamp. That outlines the liability waiver, confidentiality, compensation and expense reimbursement for attendees. That’s a professional contract I would think.

exactly....Kiffin isn't stupid. He's forcing the NCAA and everyone else to draw the line and make some rules.

I think they should be allowed to test the draft process out and see where they get drafted....if they dont get drafted and they have eligibility left let them come back to the team they last played on....if that team doesn't want them they can let them enter the portal.

If they take a payment to be part of camp as an undrafted free agent...it's over. They made a choice...and shouldn't be allowed to come back
