Say what you want about Dabo Swinney, but he is an excellent coach. His team won national championships in 2016 and 2018, beat good Alabama teams twice in the playoffs and at one time compiled a 29-game winning streak until his loss to LSU in 2020.

Clemson is extremely scrappy, in the image of their head coach.
He is not so much an excellent X’s and O’s guy, but more so someone who “expects” to win…kind of a weird little dude who came up thru Bear Bryant…

They are a 16th ranked 3 loss team and don't deserve to be in the playoffs, end of story.

I live in Greenville, big time Clemson country. I know some alum that are very involved and yes…..they have been paying the players through the church and through phony real estate deals for a while now. The way they use Christianity as a cover has always pissed me off….there are def some legit Christian’s up here but many use the faith instead actually believing in it. If you don’t attend a church if you live here, it’s as if they look at you like a leper lol. Just a bunch of hypocrites imo.

The Longhorns combined for 17 penalties in the two games.
As a Bama fan I can't help but laugh. I believe we had that many penalties in one game several times over the past few years

Clemson is one of the few schools who has a tradition of allowing fans on the field after the game ends. This can be traced back to at least the 70’s when this tradition allowed the fans to give players $100 handshakes.
