If it's Texas Tech, you don't have a lot to crow about.
Since "Tech" joined the SWC in 1960 and subsequently the switch to the Big 12, they have four seasons of 10 wins or more; 2 SWC shared championships and one B12 championship.
That's hardly the stuff of being elite or even relevant.
You have a billionaire buying your way into a seat at the big table.
In other words, no one give a flying rat's arse about your stadium naming rights.
