Not team favorites but I do have coach favorites due to sustained success - Wooden, Krzyzewski, Spurrier, Bertman, Polk, Frazier...

Who is your primary team? Always thought you were a South Carolina fan based on other posts.

Mississippi State and Texas A&M for me.
State because my younger brother graduated from there in '95, his daughter graduated last year, and his son is currently an architecture student at State. Also, one of LSU's greatest presidents, Gen. Troy Middleton, was a Mississippi State grad'.
Texas A&M? Well, once upon a time, LSU owned them not only on the football field, but as a military school as well during the 1940s and 50s. Both institutions were part of the 4th Army District. A&M had the top cavalry unit in the district, but LSU wore the Blue Star as the top ROTC unit within the 4th Army District. At least A&M continues their great military tradition. (Side note - my first game in Death Valley as a student/marching band member was the Texas A&M game in 1986. A great start to my college years.)

Grew up an Auburn fan. Also like UVA because I go there.

The LSU /A&M rivalry was a lot of fun in the 80's and 90's. Always exciting when we played the first game of the season. Since A&M has joined the SEC it just seems forced for some reason. IDK.

I guess if you're on mobile you can't see the Vince Dooley avatar.

In the SEC?
I don't have any hate for Georgia or Alabama. Kentucky has had their run ins with them, but I feel like our fan base and their fanbases all generally get along and don't have any ill will towards each other. Really....anyone who hates Tennessee like we do is going to be good in our book, besides Florida. frick Florida.
Outside of the SEC?
Virginia Tech and West Virginia. Had a lot of friends go to each, been to a lot of parties at both back in my college days. Both culturally similar to a degree to Kentucky as well.

Boston College. Can't explain why.
yeah, i almost included them. Because no matter WHO the opponent is, there is a chance BC will give them a good game and maybe upset them.

Troy State. I grew up about 45 minutes from there and a bunch of my friends went there. I pull for them whenever they play.

UAB.
I just hope we can keep Southern Cal from stealing our coach.

Georgia Tech. They were close and I went to a few games growing up because my dad got free tix from work.

Yeah, I grew up a Georgia Tech fan so GT for me as well.
In college we all liked A&M because we didn't know how culty they were. We just knew they were patriotic, conservative and REK went there.
I've followed Iowa State for a couple of years solely because I was an early Matt Campbell believer and I drove through Ames once, but I don't think that'll continue post-Campbell.
In the SEC I've probably cheered hardest for Tennessee due to mutual enemies, although I have no real affection for the Vols. South Carolina was pretty easy to like for a while, especially in their games with UGA.

I've always liked Oregon even back when guys like Akili Smith and Dennis Dixon were playing there. Something about Oregon, I don't know what it is.

Clemson.
Grandfather played football there as a freshman before transferring to API.

The teams I would always start a dynasty with on NCAA Football (when they still made the game) were: Tennessee, Michigan State, Georgia, and Oregon
Couldn’t tell you why, but I just always thought those teams and their respective programs were cool. Still do
