I like LSU's uniforms- best helmet in football. Also, if I wasn't Texan I'd like to be Cajun!

I like/respect VaTech, Auburn, Air Force, Stanford, NC State, Fresno St, MissSt

I loved UF in the late 90's. Was a big spurrier guy when we went 21-0 at half, only to lose 21-42.

I loved watching David Greene at UGA, and really admired that program consistently winning 10+ games.

and who didnt like watching Mike Vick play at VT

lastly, Ive always felt that NC State and VT belong in the SEC.

Arkansas - family ties. And as a kid, the weird plastic razorback helmet was fun to play with.

I've made it known LSU is my 2nd favorite team.

Always respected Alabama, even pre-Saban. I watched that Miami-Alabama sugar bowl in the electronics department of the Foley's I was working at. We were having an unusually deep freeze and the mall was having heater problems management was concerned about pipes bursting, so me & a guy from loss prevention were tasked to stay in the store after hours until the night security crew showed up, freezing our asses off but got to watch that glorious beatdown of the bad guys courtesy of the good guys, on a big-screen TV. Been a fan ever since.

I hate admitting this here but A&M. They've had some great players like Dat Nguyen, Javorski Lane, Von Miller, Quentin Coryatt. And I like their road whites, they look great with that dark maroon.

Boston College. Can't explain why.

I used to like LSU but now I despise the swamp rats. I kind of like to see Arkansas do well and Kentucky too. Also like when Vandy has a good season.

Mississippi State
Florida
LSU
Stanford

State - I think I got laid every time we went to Starkville when I was at Alabama late 60s-early 70s. Their teams were always blue collar as can be and would beat you up physically. Lots of friends that went to "staaaaay-eat"

Florida - I grew up in Gainesville, went to HS there. Several HS teammates played for Florida under Ray Graves. This was before Florida ever won anything.

LSU - Live here, follow team, very interested in LHSAA football and goodly percent of LSU team is from Louisiana. I most likely saw them in high school. I've enjoyed intensely disliking the last two coaches... but Cholly Mac and Arnspargar where outstanding men and coaches.

Stanford - Loved the band. And it was the first cfb game I ever attended as 4-year old in 1948. Step dad was in grad school there after WWII, took me and twin brother to see USC game.. Stanford students brought out the "axe cheer" which was usually reserved for Cal.

They don't use axe cheer anymore... woke nonsense. What is it? stadium chants "Giv'um the axe (...2.3,4) the axe (,,,2,3,4) the axe-the axe-the axe" plaYing off of the Stanford Indian nickname which is no longer used of course. It was eerie like the Fsu/braves chant.

Miami

The reason?

I think Miami embodied the 1980s with decadence and flair and it translated to the football field.

I grew up in a very traditional family, son of a preacher, and Miami was very anti that life style and it was just fun.

More importantly, I really really really really hate Nebraska.

My best friend was the AD's son. I used to watch SMU games from the box back before the death penalty

Notre Dame- With only free television as a child I was essentially forced to watch a lot of their games. Then last week I went to their game and really liked their campus, and traditions. Very cool

Navy/Army- served in both branches

UGA- All the crap they get over their 41 year drought is like ours but shorter.

Oregon- love the state, love their uniforms

I like Kentucky too. Nice colors, uniforms, and would like to see them do well in football

Florida State - that fisking chant gets in your head and won’t leave

Appalachian State - just keeps pulling upsets on ranked teams. Please god don’t ever schedule them

Virginia Tech - best entrance in the game

Mississippi State (shocker I know). I have worked in the aerospace industry for 19 years now. I have spent a lot of time testing my company's engines at Stennis Space Center over the years. Extremely nice people, and that place has a HUGE contingency of State grads. They are so good at what they do, too. It's funny to find so many rocket science experts in podunk Mississippi in the middle of nowhere. And they all sound like rednecks that live on a farm. It's hilarious watching a guy with a dip in his mouth, and who sounds like Larry the Cable Guy, school some young punk with a $400k degree on rocket science. I've made a lot of good friends there over the years, so I find myself rooting for them.

LSU has a healthy representation there as well, and they are my 3rd favorite for many of the same reasons.
