And that’s the way Kirby likes his QBs. And why Fields and Eason left. And when they asked Fromm to actually throw a bit they lost.

But he did throw as much as anyone else in the first half. Why did you choose to leave out that key context? Your intellectual dishonesty is showing.

UGA's run game will be just as strong if not stronger this year

Bit of a leap given the loss of guys in the backfield. Replacing 1,500 yards and years of experience.

Not at all. Milton is Zeus with better vision and more wiggle. McIntosh is deadly out of the backfield and is no slouch between the tackles.

Plus, we're returning studs at the most important positions on the OL (LT, RT, and C). This is a Joe Moore Award winning type of group.

The running game will be fine.

It would have taken nothing but a simple offer for both of them to be key WRs

Have you seen the WR at Tennessee?
A deep and talented mix of height and speed with experience and solid transfers. There is a reason those two were not pursued.

But to the topic at hand, do you believe UGA has a 4,000 receiving yard type O?

We have everything we need, but there are 2 reasons why it won’t happen:

1. Our O is too good.
2. Our D is too good.

This means we play only 40 minutes of explosive O, where shite teams likes vols play 60. This skews the stats. Look up that word “skew”.

Bennett threw for 70% of his yardage total in the first half of games. An astute analysis would lead one to conclude that Stetson wasn't asked to throw the ball much in the second half of games due to already having a commanding lead.

Smokeyone and co must not be astute.

Pruitt was an idiot to not pursue them. I remember when you and other vols were talking up the greatness of that Pruitt coaching staff. Shows how clueless y’all are about what quality looks like, on and off the field.

Since you clearly don’t know, We have a very good SEC WR corp.

Best receiving corps we’ve ever had. Football’s gonna be flying.

I think Georgia has really good talent everywhere and have several good receivers. Probably better than most give them credit for just because style of play. However you’re nowhere close to the level that Ohio Stand Bama have had in recent years. Bama almost won a national title last year solely because their top two receivers were unstoppable.

Georgia could put up really good numbers and have guys drafted but they don’t have the kind of talent that can carry an entire team. (Bowers at TE maybe the best TE we’ve seen but I’m talking about WR specifically)

You’re right. Stetson Bennett is legit. Best QB in the conference by a mile.

This kind of sarcasm indicates you don’t think Bennett is very good. What’s up with that?

He’s the best QB. I don’t know why people act like he’s not good.

UGA was primarily a run team last year (shocking right) and from scanning games Bennett wasn’t throwing much different in the 1st half of games than the second half. 4 games with more than 25 attempts (3-1 in those games). Looks pretty typical of Kirby teams.

I'm beyond confident in this. Barring injury, he will pass for 4000 yards this year.

Can’t see it. The biggest reason being Georgia will likely be up big in so many games, his fourth and even third quarter passing yards will be scant.

Yep. Very astute observation.

No way Bennett passes for 4,000 yards. If he throws the ball that much, he isn't durable enough to make it through the season.

Twice as many attempts in the first half of games.

Half as many attempts in the second half of games.

Lol
Bennett averaged 13.5 pass attempts in the first half and 7 pass attempts in the 2nd half.
The 13.5 is slightly reduced because he split reps in a couple of games (not much different than Hooker).

Edit to add that UGA ran the ball 251 times in the first half and threw the ball 250 times in the first half.

Is there something more specific to your complaint that i am not seeing?

Are you looking game by game or only counting games started? Because less than 1/3 of his games he didn’t even hit 19 attempts. And in the loss to Bama he threw 27 in the second half than 1st by 6. Your math is very suspect.

Almost, if not all, of throws in the 4th q of 2021 games came against bama.

Did that blow your mind?

189 throws first half
98 throws second half
