Stankey looking worse with every LSU move.

- All the pearl clutching for nothing when LSU broke no rules and the whole thing w the football players became a moot point
- “Postponing” votes on a) kicking LSU out of the conference and b) making transfer players sit one year. In this case postponing = smarter heads prevailed and realized these were stupid votes to begin with.
- Sailiou Liang and Brice Dessert just cleared to play. (But…But..will wade is destroying college basketball).
So far Greg Sankey has been on the wrong side of all of these issues.

LSU fans would have an easier time getting people to hate Sankey if they didn’t make it all about themselves.

9 game schedule + 24 team playoff is going to make it even harder for the conference to win natties.
We'll get more teams in but suddenly a 9-3 ACC team that played no one and is healthy will be there too.
Our teams will already be beat up and facing an even larger playoff field than before.

Now that football and basketball have followed SEC policy, as they said they would all along, and broken no rules, Sankey is lobbying to keep the lawsuit alive over Jay Johnson’s plans to roster previously drafted baseball players. Complete lack of institutional control on the bayou!

Sorry. I can see that was cryptic.
As we all know, the SEC sued LSU officials in federal court in Birmingham.
LSU filed a motion to dismiss, and the SEC filed a response resisting the dismissal. (I did an analysis of the response on the Rant.)
The response was, in my view, weak on many points.
LSU has the opportunity to respond to the response, which is called a "reply," which I mispelled "ewply." I can see that did not help the clarity of my already confusing post.
Because the response by the SEC had several very weak points, I expect the LSU reply to kick them hard.
Thus, Sankey will have a bad day.

What is LSU supposed to do? Is the SEC bringing a lawsuit against any other school or threatening to kick another member out of the league? The defense rests, Your Honor.
