I go every other year! Ole Miss is a nice stadium. Your picture looks like construction work to the end zone during the off season and in no way what Vault-Hemingway looks like. We are trying to have a decent conversation here. Try harder!

A co-worker went over to VHS for a game this last season and said the party decks were much better in person than in that picture.

I just don't know why Ole Miss would allow an unfinished picture of the party decks to get out there though.

bullshite aside, I still think Vaught could be upgraded going off of the last time I was there.

You can thank Bjork for that. Money that went to the NEZ was redirected to The Pavilion. The NEZ was supposed to match the SEZ. Ole Miss is about to renovate the West side of the stadium. That NEZ needs to be torn down.

Now that would have been nice.

I still haven't been over to see The Pavilion, but I have heard great things.

A lot changes in just one year, not to mention 7 years. No trash in the stands, ladder or two laying close, nothing to see here. This is the age of media, nothing is sacred anymore.

One good thing about Texas playing in the SEC. They are required to have a percentage of seats in lower level for visiting fans. They now sit the visitor's in the upper deck.

It’s changed so much. Most of the schools started placing the visitors in the upper deck. Money grab, season ticket expansion for home team, etc. It’s just the way it is. If you want to feel close to God… sit on the top row of Tiger Stadium!

OU has the top stadium and facilities in the SEC tied with A&M after a 500 mil renovation.

Did OU have a second renovation? It looks like they ran out of money in 2015.

From a 2015 CBS article

"The Oklahoman reports an approved $350 million renovation of Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium has been scaled back to a $160 million project."

I’m not sure OU is top half of the SEC. clearly behind A&M, Bama, & Lsu. Probably tu & UGA too.

Well you are just flat out wrong then. OU and A&M are easily the top for now, they both just spent 100s of millions. Would it fricking kill you guys to give some credit where it’s due once in a while like the rest of us do? Just shows how scared you are.

They ended up splitting the initial renovation into two phases. Both were completed tho just a year apart for the home games.

You may be right, but the articles I've read say the second phase was put off to a later date and I'm not seeing anything referencing a $500,000,000 renovation.

Only one SEC school has spend as much as OU on facilities and that’s A&M. The rest don’t have anywhere close to 500 mil in disposable income for upgrades.

I would be glad to compare UGA's revenues, profits and reserve funds to OU and I would highly doubt OU had $500 million lying around for stadium improvements.Im sure they financed and funded like any other big school does with capitol improvements but your President and AD should be commended for putting such a big investment in your program and game day experience

Really doesn't surprise me that we have better facilities than OU. We have been in the SEC for a while now. I'm sure they will catch up though.

His photo was legit. That's what they came up with in 2019 and it was rightfully scorned.

Ole Miss's stadium is fine compared to most. But in the SEC, it's way down there. It's an aluminum superstructure with mismatched awnings. The sound system is terrible, the place is usually half full at best, and about three quarters empty by the fourth quarter of every game. The scoreboard/jumbotron is embarrassing by SEC standards. After State finished their remodel, Ole Miss threw up some temporary aluminum shite just so they could increase capacity.

They also built a very nice basketball facility, but they built it so close to the football stadium that it's going to make it difficult for them to do anything significant to their stadium going forward.

That's not true. It's a little old, but plenty big.

I would love it if our stadium wasn't a hodgepodge of different constructions. Y'all knocked it out of the park with your renovation.

And now we know why OU wants in the SEC. CFB attendance doesn't dwindle in the SEC. Of course, if OU and UT(A) are admitted to the SEC, they will see more dwindling of fan attendance at their stadiums as the home crowd gets tired of seeing their teams get their asses handed to them.

That's not true at all. Attendance is down across all conferences.
