Despite all that Fields couldn't win the starting job. Had he showed a better attitude on the field and in the locker room it might have been a different story.

Sounds like a shitty coaching decision to me.

Fields OSU performance came with better coaching and better OC, even have as much if not more talent than UGA.

Everyone knows CKS can recruit, and design a D with 5 stars everywhere at Bama, but can he be a head coach and learn from his small issues to take the next step.
His partner Muschamp is the same way, can recruit but in 2 P5 stints found out he cant HC.

Dabo got his brains beat in by Spurrier 5 years in a row, had to grow as a coach.
Ed O learned from Ole Miss and USC interim jobs. he had to grow to be successful at LSU, last year was the greatest season I had ever seen.
Alot of similarities between those two.

I think Ryan Day at OSU is set up for an incredible run. He was left in an incredible job, with history and facilities second to none and he setting up to have the greatest recruiting class in history.

Yes. I don't know why the Sporting News focuses so much on the 29 Victories the last 2 years. They should focus more on the one defeat.

He was bitter because he was never given a real chance to win the starting job, and he knew he was better than Fromm. Kirby F'd it up but that is old news now.

They should — And they wouldn’t have:

1. LSU ranked at # 5
2. Those clowns Sunshine & ETN ranked on the first team (Same as last year)

How did Sunshine & ETN do last year when both were picked EXACTLY as they are in 2020 by Sporting News?

Sunshine — First Team All - American ?
Sunshine — Heisman Trophy ?

Joe beat Sunshine like a little Orange bich and took that Heisman — Sunshine wasn’t even invited to the Heisman Party?

What’s changed in 2020, lololololol

That Heisman is going to Fields in 2020

ETN couldn’t get selected NFL Top 5 RB and had to come back — Total embarrassment!

What’s changed in 2020, lololololol

Nothing — ETN is a 5th Rounder at best — Never got tough enough playing all those cupcakes that Pad a 29 game win streak

The big fkn Orange 29 game streak — 25 cupcakes lolololololololol

Dabo got some ORANGE SUPA-DEVIL JUICE to give to both of them

How do you spell KKKLEMSON? Overrated

What’s KKKLEMSON’S and Sunshine’s winning streak now? Lololololol

It’s Zeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeroooooo

Back of the SEC bus Clemson biches

That's quite a rant. Not sure why you're so butt-hurt about "little-ole Clemson". But I'll counter a few "points" in your rant....

"The big fkn Orange 29 game streak — 25 cupcakes lolololololololol"

Over the past 5 years Clemson has the best record against top 20 teams in the nation at 22-3. Losses only to Bama (twice) and LSU (once). LSU stands at 20-9 over that same time period.

"Joe beat Sunshine like a little Orange bich and took that Heisman — Sunshine wasn’t even invited to the Heisman Party?"

Yeah, congrats on your 1 year QB rental. Would have been nice if he actually ATTENDED a class at LSU. You know, like "student" athletes do at other colleges. But whatevs.

Weird times;

Alabama has 3 on the team, none on defense.
Oregon has 2, both linemen.

3 of the 4 DL are in the ACC; does anyone really buy that? And 5 of the defensive 11?

But, as always, an Alabama offensive lineman, and an LSU defensive back. So, some continuity.

Sound just like a whiny @$$ Gump with the 5-year & 10-year History Lessons — I can give you an 85 year LSU vs Clemson history lesson so STFU and answer my point

My exact point was your LAST 30 games — 25 cupcakes — DO YOU DENY THIS? We won’t mention that 24-6 beating Bama gave you Jan 1, 2018. Just the last 30 games in 2018 and 2019 seasons —

How many cupcakes did Clemson have?

Ok - we got one out of the way!

Hello — Fact is Sunshine was last year’s favorite for the Heisman — 4 got invited

Sunshine was not one of them — Fields, Young and Hurts were there — No Sunshine

Hence my prediction he’s overrated and he’s not going to be in NY for a 2020 Heisman

Joe Burrow earned a MASTER DEGREE online at LSU only a lame @$$ would try to take that away from this fine young man! That’s two years and thousands of hours of study to achieve that — even if online

Do you even know the shite you spew!

I think you are spot on... What separates Day from Meyer is picking his assistants. Everywhere he has coached (pros and college he is liked and well respected. It surely doesn't hurt what he inherited though from Meyer. I may be wrong but I believe he'll only be there for maybe 5 years. The NFL is already in hot pursuit of him.

Give it some time

After a couple years at LSU, Gerry Dinardo was spoken to be the next coach at Penn State, replacing Paterno. This was when LSU was coming off a decade in the wilderness and just beginning to get to bowls again, and Paterno was on Bear level respect.
After three years at LSU, Les Miles was the next Jimmy Johnson, having transformed the Tigers from a bowl team to a perennial elite.

Day inherited a beast. Let's see what he does over the course of a few years before we crown him.

Notre Dame (hahahahaha) all in one year.

Also managed to lose to the all white guy team Wisconsin.
