I think Trevor Lawrence missed that game because he had Covid... I may be wrong though.

Our 3 National titles had QBs from Georgia too.
We appreciate it.
We appreciate it.
And our 2 best Parker and Woods are both from Alabama.
Great DL from Alabama & Georgia, unreal talent down there.
Clemson would not be anywhere near as good if not for states of Georgia and Alabama talent.

#23 -2016 Clemson beat #8-2016 Bama for the Championship too... not a solid list
Honestly I would rather we not be.
They have a possible 4-5- 1st round draft picks this year.
2 DL, 1 CB , 1 WR & 1 QB.
Loaded at DL & WR & major upgrade at DC.
The previous DC that CDS hired from within was a disaster.
Sometimes CDS goes the road less traveled and it bit him in the arse the last 2years on defense.
He has finally relented and joined the new world of college football.
They have 4 guys making over 1mil/year QB, WR & 2-DL.
Took 3 guys in the portal, DE , WR & LB - still need a punter though which sucks.
Looking forward to the season.

Exactly right. Clemson has games set up in the future with UGA, Oklahoma and LSU, plus play SC every year. We usually play SEC teams every year, if SEC goes to 9 conference games we may lose out on them.
I personally would hate it, I would rather play SEC or even B10 teams win or lose.

Clemson beat Bama on the road earlier this year.

Clearly you have not watched recently. Most of these girls play at a high level, reverse layups, beautiful passes and downtown 3s.
It's really entertaining.

If he wants to be a champion he should have went to another school.
Wheres Les Miles?
Dude, you should never wish for a player to get hurt, totally classless. Bad game of course but never injured
I'm looking forward to Friday night.
I'm glad little old Clemson has built a rivalry over the last 5 or6 years with Bama, ND and OSU, 3 blue bloods in CFB.
It sucks with our ACC schedule, until the ACC & SCAR gets better this is what I look forward too.

We all aren't bad there brother! Every team has those fans.
I decided not to go to NOLA for the game this year, I was there for the arse beating by Bama in 2017 & LSU in 2019.
BAMA fans were much more enjoyable after the game than LSU fans. But both fans were great before the games
FWIW, 2019 was not our best team, regardless of what LSU guys may say. Didn't have the defensive horses to keep up with the LSU offense.
2015,2016 & 2018 were all better on the defensive side.

Tanner doesn't need to be making the next HC hire. He should be moved out he's in over his head.
re: What would it take for the SEC to poach the ACC's "football schools"?

The advantage the SEC gives Clemson over the ACC is $$$, about $25-30million more a year. And the difference grows every year.
Everyone can say what they want to but I and most CU fans that I know would like to play in the SEC every year. That's one reason we schedule so many OOC games with the SEC.
I miss playing uga every year like the 80s.

Some of these LSU fans are unbearable. The shite they come up with

NCAA doesn't control the CFP, only sports like basketball, baseball, tennis, etc.

Fields OSU performance came with better coaching and better OC, even have as much if not more talent than UGA.
Everyone knows CKS can recruit, and design a D with 5 stars everywhere at Bama, but can he be a head coach and learn from his small issues to take the next step.
His partner Muschamp is the same way, can recruit but in 2 P5 stints found out he cant HC.
Dabo got his brains beat in by Spurrier 5 years in a row, had to grow as a coach.
Ed O learned from Ole Miss and USC interim jobs. he had to grow to be successful at LSU, last year was the greatest season I had ever seen.
Alot of similarities between those two.
I think Ryan Day at OSU is set up for an incredible run. He was left in an incredible job, with history and facilities second to none and he setting up to have the greatest recruiting class in history.

I'd be excited to play a full SEC schedule like the rest. Would be fun to watch.

How can he flip, when no one knew he was on our commitment list?

Clemson hasn't lost a regular season game in 2years.
The "Clemsoning" thing is in the past, but the ACC is worse than usual the last 2years.
When they get to the bigger games in the last 5years, they perform well.
I would lean more toward USC than OU.
Can't stand Cowherd or any of those blowhards.
