The quintessential Southern Tree
If the SEC were to truly get serious they'd kick any state that's not on this map out of the conference.
Any school from a state not on this map shouldn't even be considered in expansion talks.

I mean it’s planted as far north as Pennsylvania, that map is just its native range.

I once spent six years in exile behind the Pine Curtain in Marshall, Texas. I had a magnolia tree in my yard and am convinced that the leaves of the magnolia tree served as the inspiration for whoever invented vinyl.

There's nothing more enjoyable than hearing magnolia cones bouncing off the roof. I got treated to a fall preview the other night, at like 12:30-1 am.

We had a Magnolia tree in our front yard growing up.
Magnolias are great trees for kids to climb up.

Typical Mississippi. State tree is only native to half of it.

Looks like you don’t know how to read a map.
Range includes land adjacent to and east of Mississippi River. LSU’s campus is situated next to the river.

To say Tennessee doesn’t belong in the SEC based on this map is absolutely ridiculous.

Op your map is weak. Magnolias actually growing in a much larger range. Even on west coast.
