Yes and no different in Memphis when they make their sweet sauce with tomato base.

Now you sound like some of the Texas posters. Only a certain parts of NC just like in SC with the mustard.

It’s awful. Any BBQ that’s yellow is not real BBQ. And if they don’t serve Brunswick Stew, I don’t want to eat there.

Speaking of vomit. Looks like regurgitated dog food.

I live pretty close to the center of the state. I think we can all agree that some of the worst bbq is what they make around here in central ga. They don’t cook it right bc you can’t taste any smoke in it or find hardly any bark, chop it up into dry sawdust and then add a very tomato tasting sauce with not much vinegar and no sweetness and make a paste out of it then eat it on white bread. Some of the nastiest bbq is right here where I live.

Not straight ketchup, using ketchup as a base, sometimes referred to as heavy tomato based. Most of the the BBQ sauces throughout the USA are either tomato paste or ketchup as their main ingredient. It's probably what you are used to eating.

Not the way it’s prepared by no-talent hacks in the South, it’s not.
