Not surprised. The beef ribs and brisket were fantastic.

People who have never had smoked beef done right just don’t understand what they’re talking about. I like in Arkansas now, and I had to learn to do it myself, because the brisket around here in the restaurants sucks arse. I got Franklin’s book, and have greatly enjoyed learning how to do it.

New Orleanians are cringing at the sight of sliced white bread.

WTF....is that Wonder Bread?

Sliced white bread is pretty damn good with brisket and sausage. It’s pretty standard in Texas places. Skip the bread if you want. I like it together.

anklin BBQ in Austin is the best. I stood in line for hours and leftovers were good the next day, reheated. No need for sauce.

If you have to put sauce on BBQ then it isn’t good to begin with.

Smoked meats shouldn’t need sauce to be good, but it’s alright as an extra.

Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t need lipstick, but it doesn’t ruin the dish, and might even add a little something when the mood is right.

It’s never about having to, but it’s about wanting to

Have you ever had west tx bbq? Its highly slept on.

I've had brisket at Sam Hills in Clarendon many times. But I prefer pork BBQ over beef brisket with BBQ sauce on it.

It’s your style of que mixed with potatoes. Looks like shitty chili. I’m sure it tastes fine, but I’d rather have my bbq taste like smoked meat. Not in a paste form.

But it really doesn’t taste fine. I’ve had it, and it’s shite.

Real bbq doesn't need bread.

Real bbq sandwiches use buns.

While I agree with your statement, you suck at logic if you think that means that BBQ places that offer white bread must not have real BBQ.
