I love how much Bama fans are obsessed with us now. It’s like Auburn doesn’t even exist anymore.

If something goes down, I could see a hard push for Napier

That said, if it comes to that point, they should make Billy Napier tell them no.

What?! He turned everyone else down
Story I heard, was that he was waiting for the LSU job specifically. He's sitting less than 50 miles away, seems to be doing things the right way, and probably hears some chatter the general public doesn't catch.

Orgeron has always scared me- his claim to fame is "elite recruiter", and those guys have always been shifty. Certainly not an elite x-and-o's guy, or really even a competent one as far as I can tell.

I think interim would have to be Ensminger, I don't think anyone else is qualified or has the time in. I wonder, Pelini actually would have fit the bill... prior successful HC at Nebraska, knows what it takes day to day, etc. Curious in retrospect if O intentionally sabotaged him; he probably has good instincts on who is a threat to him. Aranda definitely was, Pelini could have been.

As a major LSU poster on this site, what's your opinion, Early?

I'm of the opinion you better clutch those 2019 posts tight, you're gonna need them for the next decade or so.

Verge Ausberry has been actually documented as ****ing up and violating Title IX protocols. He got a 30 day suspension. Orgeron isn't going anywhere.

would it be an assistant coach on the team now, or would LSU hire somebody, perhaps from the NFL, like Shula at Alabama in 2003?

Who is the assistant head coach at LSU?

The answer has got to be Will Wade, right?

Whoever succeeds the Ogre will have his players which has proven to be a successful formula twice for LSU

This entire thread is about O being fired.

LSU will win another championship within 4 years of hiring his replacement based on history.

Coach John Robinson is going to need to tighten up with his management of Big Ed.

He would also need to do a better job of looking out for those Bama players while on the sideline

No I think LSU has an enemy in USA Today or an outside party convincing them to hammer them.
