John Robinson . . . .they would have install some sort of wheelchair path up and down the sidelines. The guy is 85.

Ensminger would be understandable. I think he loves everything LSU the way Shula loved Alabama, and I hope he still does, but since he was fired, I have no idea.

If LSU is willing to overlook sexual harassment and other charges, they are willing to look the other way with Coach Ogre’on’s indiscretions

You talking about stupid shite like naked in bed with ho pictures?

That's probably the least of things and that alone would just be an annoyance for administration and boosters. Unfortunately for LSU that isn't the case.

He's was on the sideline all last year. It's still probably a long shot.

If you're talking about Ensminger, he retired from on field coaching. He wasn't fired.

If they would have owned up and canned Wade when this all started to come out, they would have gotten a slap on the wrist and the football stuff would have remained hidden away.

Now they have screwed the whole athletic department and possibly the administration all for a few wins in basketball.

no. I'm talking about Mike Shula. He loved UA the way Ensminger loves LSU, but since he (Shula) was fired at UA, I don't know if he still feels the same way. I think most folks figured it was a stop gap to get us through the sanctions. Kind or ironic that his team got busted for the textbooks.

I said it months ago, it's someone within or has an informant inside LSU athletic department who is slow leaking information. It's something very odd about this stuff is getting released monthly.

also as noted, by now it may be administration and boosters setting Orgeron up to be fired with cause

This is what always concerns me about interim coaches. They may do a good job at the time, but they aren't really making long term decisions and don't have the pressure of doing everything they can to maintain success in the program. They're only responsibility is to win games in the current season. Then, ADs can tend to get lazy and just extend the coach based on that one abbreviated season vs going out and finding a guy that had built and maintained a program.

Unless another Nuclear issue comes up, I doubt he gets fired before the season. Right now it seems like they are minimize the bad publicity instead of releasing who knew what and when. Sometimes the cover up is worse than actually taking a few public relations hits.

If that actually happened LSU would probably relent and let Saban come back.

If he gets fired before the season it would be for a scandal.

If that were the case LSU would probably postpone the coaching search and use an interim to get them through the season.

In that only marginally likely scenario, their coaching search would be one of the more hardcore in recent history. Given that their previous coach has now been blackballed due to his involvement in the current scandal, LSU would need to hire a squeaky clean replacement.

Why would Les Miles be fired for things that happened at LSU if Orgeron was head coach during "a lot of this?"

No proof or even an allegation of this so far.

No proof that Orgeron knew it was rape, Guice was telling everyone it was consensual sex.

I haven't seen anything that actually identifies the coach whom she spoke with. Link?

Why are you calling his girlfriend a "random floozy?" Also, how do you know they're "in bed?"

Has nothing to do with Orgeron or football.

How much of your post did you make up?

She claims that she spoke with Orgeron and that there was no denying his deep, gravely, Cajun voice.

A 74-year-old woman told state lawmakers Friday that she spoke directly to LSU football coach Ed Orgeron about sexual harassment she said she endured in 2017 from one of his star players, adding he did nothing to reprimand the running back.

quote:

Scott said she called LSU about the player and eventually received a return phone call from Orgeron, who she said offered to put Guice on the phone to apologize. Scott said Orgeron asked her to "please forgive [Guice] because he's a troubled child."

Couldn't have been Orgeron if she understood what he was saying.

I’m for whatever gets rid of Wade, O and PM the quickest. LSU has shown they can win under several coaches. Returning to competitive status isn’t a concern of mine.

Mistakes were made, laws and rules were broken, heads should roll. Oh yea, and PM sucks. Time for a knew baseball coach also.
