His track record for the last few coaches have 3 national championships to their name...
Landry could set fire to the LSU campus, level the indian mounds and gut Mike on live TV and the people that vote for some like Landry are still going to vote for Landry if the person running against him has a "D" next to their name.
BK isn't coming to LSU for a 5 year contract, so the question remains "What would you have done?"

He also hired Sark and Petersen. If we're going to keep bringing up coaches at other schools, you need to bring up all of them
He's the early favorite, so of course he won't end up here.

Firing Wade wasn't the low point. Finding out he used personal banking accounts to pay players after defending him for years was the low point. Wade deserved to be fired for his stupidity.

Sure he took top 10 ranked players. Very few turned out to make significant contributions. Many times, LSU took a better player that was from out of state at that position. I care less about where recruits were ranked and more about how they contributed on the field. As a North LA native, I've been watching that trend for a long time. Rarely did LSU miss out on a player. When they did, it was usually in a coaching change season.

I have spent weeks in Maui, Oahu and Kona. I stand by my original statement.
Water freezes at 32F and you need a temperature buffer since this is a mass produced product and not something that is calibrated.

No one will ever go on a run like Saban. That's why he's the best HC in college football history. We'll return to normalcy now, which is going to be strange for a lot of you who grew up with Saban as the normal.

All I'm saying is look at the LA players he signed and their production on the team. Outside of the two LSU HC transitions, his recruits from LA had minimal impact.
Too much is made of Saban's success in Louisiana. He really only hurt LSU in season when there was a coaching change.

The hate for Corey Raymond by a group of posters on this board boggles my mind. Did he molest your Cub Scout troop or something? Few of us think he's the best DB coach in football, but he would be an entirely reasonable and safe hire. I'd much rather him than gamble on another coach who's never done it at a high level.

Are you sure this was customs and not security? Sounds like you gave him $20 for nothing. The hand swabbing tests for explosive, incendiary chemicals. I used to see farmers set the alarms off all the time due to trace residue from fertilizers and chemicals they frequently come into contact with.
