If lsu fans reallly believe this, why couldn’t E do this in his career ever? Do you trust him to do it next year?

Seems impossible since Joe Brady hasn't done any radio interviews tonight.

They just started changing the offense last season and this past offseason was the first where they really changed things.

Do we have a choice?
Everything good from this season started with O and E, they've earned the benefit of the doubt in my opinion.

Coach E said Brady called all the plays in the red zone. He called everything else.

Go on believing that. It’s spin to keep recruits.

That wasn't an opinon, it was a statement of fact.

It is 100% your opinion of what I said and there is nothing objective about it. I never claimed they would hire another instant success. I said E won’t be working alone (this is already being talked about by paid board insiders) and that they won’t have any trouble finding a qualified person to take the job after Brady’s success. In other words, it won’t look like Mizzou’s head coaching search.

There are never guarantees when it comes to fit within a program and such (ie- Matt Canada) or performance, but whether it’s someone inside the program or a new guy they bring in, there’s not going to be any difficulty finding someone to fill this role.

For the hundredth time, As much as you all seem to be under the assumption that he will, Steve will not be working alone as OC again next year. They are going to promote or hire someone to fill Brady’s role and work with him. They just have to make the right call again.

Burrow pre Brady sucked.

You were 8-5 last year, Dick. Burrow was 11-3. So, if he sucked then AU sucked worse than that.

Who gives a shite who calls what when if it fricking works? If Steve was making the calls, he was doing it based on what Brady was breaking down and analyzing for him. They worked together. We need someone who can fill that role and do the same. I’m just saying that he is not going to be back to calling the offense alone circa 2018.

No but it gives fools like you hope there will be no drop off next year

Of course there will be a drop off, we won't have Joe fricking Burrow. Get out of here with that ignorance. No one is so blind to think Brennan throws for 60 TDs. The Offense won't decline because Brady will be gone though.

That 10% he called mustve been what was being shown everytime they showed them in the box during the game. All I saw was Brady on the headset talking and E spitting into his cup

1. Our O was a hybrid of what we were already doing and Brady's plays/revisions. Joe Burrow said this is in more than one interview. It is EXECUTION that made our O record-setting. Execution by a gifted qb, a gifted RB, a high performing O line, and most of all, unbelievable execution by a plethora of receivers.

2. In 2020 and in 2021, we will see how other LSU players can run this system and plays. Ignore LSU Football for 2020 at your own peril.
