When I read: "Keith Olbermann _ What a fricking idiot"...I couldn't have agreed any more

I don't care if he carries a Barbie doll or Cabbage Patch kid. Dude just broke 10,000 yards for his career Friday night. Bring that production, and the doll, to Baton Rouge. I'm good with it.
re: Tiger Stadium concessions

I love my time in Tiger Stadium. Concessions, however, have long been horrible and overpriced. I've seriously had much better concession quality at local high school venues run by the band or cheerleader parents. That's not remotely acceptable for what it costs to grace the gates of Tiger Stadium.

Perkins was also an elite running back in high school. I'm not saying he should do that here but...the OP's FIL is smarter than you. I AM saying that.

Yep. Win out, win the SECCG against an undefeated Georgia, we're in and so is Georgia.
re: Jeremy Hill had the best explanation about the fumble recovery that was not.

I don't know the best way to explain it, but the fact a player is allowed to be out of bounds, therefore unable to "possess" the ball, and can simply brush a ball with his middle finger and kill the play is bullshite.

Wrong.

How did y’all feel about the 2 point conversion at the time? I loved it but holy shite was I nervous!
I immediately thought back to not doing it against FSU. But, like you, I was extremely nervous.

Trey holly will be a legend by the time he leaves lsu.
He doesn't play for the high school team I support. In fact, Union is a district rival. But over and over again, I've watched this dude make plays that leaves me scratching my head wondering how he did it. He's unbelievable.

We have a dog in this fight.
Agreed. And the major difference is having a dog in the fight year after year. To me, THAT is one of the biggest things BK brings to the table. GEAUX TIGERS!

Been an LSU fan since I was a child. Never won a spelling bee, though. Never tried, either.

19-21, 325 yards and 3TD's, 2 to Jamar Chase. In the first half. Damn.
Biggest play of the game, IMO. And it was an unbelievable INT, at that. The momentum shift after that was substantial.
re: Chris Blair Brought the Energy Yesterday

I was critical of him earlier this year. But I had him synced up with the TV yesterday and he brought the thunder. Great job yesterday, Chris Blair!

Aranda was known for his excellent halftime adjustments.

Dave Aranda was masterful at managing the game.
You both are correct...Dave Aranda was/is a defensive genius. I guess what I mean is that, to me, the changes he made did not resonate as much on the field to the point that it legitimately changed the course of the game like it seems to be now. And that is certainly not a knock on Aranda - I like him alot.
One noticeable difference
Posted by mkemp0113 on 10/23/22 at 5:38 am
There's one thing that can't be underestimated: Not very noticeable since the Saban years, IMO, has LSU had coaches that have made meaningful in-game adjustments that have mattered. These coaches have done it and they've done it well. Back the truck up for Matt House now. Because with a full recruiting cycle or two, his defense will once again be a premier LSU defense of old that was feared by many. And, my God, Harold Perkins.
