As a drunk person, I can confirm.

It will probably be mostly bud/miller/coors just because those have universal appeal. For UGA in particular I think it'd be cool to offer some of our local beers from Creature Comforts or Terrapin but not sure that'll happne out of the gates.

that can sort itself out...can we get the guys with the beer backpacks walking around the stadium like in the old days?

I still cant believe LSU doesnt sell beer stadium wide.
I know its a gentleman's agreement between the schools but when has LSU ever agreed to anything with the other 13.

About time. Having a few beers while watching a ball game is as American as apple pie.
Hell, you can get beer at a freaking Chuckie Cheese for Christ sakes, I see no reason not to sell it at college games.

You have a point there. The prices are a bit steep.

If they would just try to make an average amount of alcohol sales and not be arse clowns with prices people would come just for the good priced alcohol. They charge more at events than they do at a top dollar steak house

I’ve always said this should be an option... and for a scrub game like against a Chattanooga or sister Of the poor game.. donate a quarters beer sales to a reputable charity . Everyone wins.

I honestly think it’ll get more people back to the games. Attendance is down across the board. Maybe this will help change that trend.
pfft... lower the price of tickets and get back to me.

Who the hell drinks good beer on a sweltering hot southern day? No one.

In the Chute at LSU it’s $6 or $8 for a 16 oz beer, regardless of brand. Not terrible for stadium beer

We have a pesky state law that would prohibit us regardless of what the SEC approves. Not saying the law wouldn't or couldn't change but it would take some time to get it done. Wouldn't matter to me regardless. I quit going a couple of years ago. Y'all have it though. Matters not to me.

Besides the sales, the beer giants are going to shell out massive amounts of money to be the “official beer of the tigers” or name your school. They will probably make just as much on that as they will sales.
