You didn’t cover your disdain well enough.

When moving the CWS was being considered a few years ago I was for moving it. But they built a new large stadium and signed a big long-term contract with Omaha. The city really does embrace the CWS.

I hate td ameritrade park
Loved rosenblatt
It would never be the same outside Omaha and the city supports it

Thing with Omaha is the CWS is the only game in town for 2 weeks. You aren't getting that in some major metro area. Plus the area around the ballpark is great and many hotels within walking distance.

I can't see a good argument for why it should be moved.

You've obviously never been.

It's awesome and should never move.

Omaha is plenty of town to be cool enough for it. Its just big enough to have a good time but not overwhelming or a pain in the arse.

After we won in 2010 some newspaper - can't remember if it was Omaha's or some paper in SC - published a cartoon of Cocky turning off the lights in Rosenblatt with the trophy in his hand.

After 2011 the same cartoon was published but with Cocky turning on the lights to Rosenballt with 2 trophies in his hand.

Wish I could find it.

Omaha and the CWS go together like peanut butter and jelly.

How dare you even suggest otherwise.

Omaha is a fantastic city, btw.

You're not trying to ruin tradition? That's the only thing your stupid proposal accomplishes.

Hell no.

I do think TD Ameritrade blows compared to Rosenblatt though

So you know nothing about the commitment that the NCAA made with the city of Omaha for them to build a new stadium? https://www.cornnation.com/2008/6/11/550474/ncaa-signs-25-year-contrac

Omaha to college players is like Williamsport to Little Leaguers. They all want to get there.

Shut your whore mouth.

Omaha is awesome, highly suggest you attend some time.

I was sitting in the stands 10 rows up on 1st base when the foul ball dropped right in front of us. Up until that moment, it was a great atmosphere.

You're wanting to put the College World Series baseball tournament in Florida in late June where the average temperature is in the 90s with heat index in the 100s? Not to mention it is hurricane season.
