Serious question - Aggies, what are you expecting from Jimbo this year?

$100 mil and 13-11 (6-10 in SEC) last 2 Yrs. Let that sink in.

Is Jimbo on the hot seat? If not, what does he have to do to get there?

What are your expectations? Are you all going to hold him accountable (oh wait...his contract basically gives him a free pass), or will he continue to win that ONE game vs a rival and you all will continue to go ahead and make excuses for another losing season?

We all know what Aggy fans care about.

A winning season is not required.

They will get Texas 8&4 regardless of what they expect.

Jimbo arrives at the football ops facility at 3am 7 days per week in relentless pursuit of one ironclad goal: take A&M to the perfect 8-4 season.

Who said A&M fans were happy with last season? It was nice to beat LSU but that doesn't wipe away the stain of 5-7.

The bare minimum IMO for the fan base to be OK is 9-3. I wouldn't personally be happy with anything less than 10-2. Flame away

At some point you do have to say, are you getting your money's worth with this coach?

Lane Kiffin? He's been a bit shaky but Ole Miss is doing pretty good under him. Sam Pittman? We hired him to stop the bleeding and so far he's managed to do that. Brian Kelly? Joining the SEC seems to have lit a fire under his butt. I would say that so far, though everyone will find something to complain about, those three hires have had a positive return on investment.

Jimbo, however, is getting paid a lot of money for very mediocre results at a program he took over when it was already doing pretty well. Poor Rumlin might have been a falling down drunk but he wasn't putting up 2-10 type seasons. A&M was in really good shape when Jimbo took over and they've slowly but surely fallen off that pace.

We should save time by just numbering the endless repetition of dull trolling on the board.

"Jimbo money!!" = 1
They're going to go 8-4! = 2
A&M be gay! = 3

It'll save time for most posts.

1. Improvement in the front 7
2. non-brain dead QB play
3. Jimbo's playsheet to disappear/shrink
4. At LEAST 3rd in the west
5. retain Petrino

If they were a respectable program, he would most definitely be on the hot seat. But they are not, so therefore, he is not.

This is just not true at all. We were in a death spiral with Sumlin. Getting a little worse and a little worse for about 4 years straight. Recruiting was dookie too so it wasn't getting better.

If not, fire Jimbo.

A&M is a very cringeworthy organization.

How can a major college program go its entire existence without playing for at least one big 3 men's national championship?

Or at least make it to a semi final?
