wo years. If not, he’s gone and so is Alleva.

Which would mean Scottie is coming home.

It’s a win/win if you ask me.

Might as well fire him today because he will never win the SEC

I expect to be competing for SEC titles by his 4th year. It'll take time as we are completely overhauling both our offensive and defensive schemes.

Why? Saban was coaching when Fisher won his national title a few years back.

Saban has lost to Freeze, Sumlin, Gus

Jimbo will be fired if:
(a) he doesn't win the SEC within 5 years, or
(b) The Ogre wins the SEC first.

Whichever comes first. I.e., 5 years.

Why would you want the AD that made a Jimbo hire you think is stupid?

Why would Woodward want to move back to Louisiana for a rebuild and have to deal with that administration and fewer resources?

He’d have to take a serious pay cut. A&M isn’t going to let that guy go.

LSU has natural resources mainly players who aren’t a bunch of fricking pussies

No one is ever going to make your soft defense anything but soft.

Should have just leaned into your Big 12 roots and gotten a spread QB

We both know there is only one November game that is critical for Aggies.

Jimbo now has to face the Master every year! That is why! Jimbo will never go undefeated at aTm.

If a coach doesn’t win it by his second/3rd year, he never will..

If these are the 2 options

#1 Jimbo wins SEC @ TAMU

#2 Jimbo leaves / fired before winning the SEC

My guess that #2 is the odds on favorite.

He is GUARANTEED 10 YEARS PAY with no performance requirement right? So I guess the question is if he doesn't win the SEC in the first nine years, the only question will be is it worth the BUYOUT? Seriously, has any other new coach in the history of the NCAA ever been given a TEN year guaranteed contract before this one?

Don't get me wrong, I think Jimbo is a very good HC, I just have never heard of a ten year guaranteed contract at that level for a new coach before.
