Tickets are a product like anything else. Supply and demand determines price. Weird take.

People selling tickets during the season usually can't even get face value for the creampuff games...esp factoring in donation costs to get the privilege to even buy tickets. No one cries about that.

Man, I am so tempted to go to the game. I don't think I can convince my girlfriend to want to go though.

There’s also zero trash talk here between Bama/UGA fans. Weird year, that’s for sure.

Your team should try playing in it more than twice in the last 12 years.

This has already been a really fun game week.

The season already flies by. Why would anybody vote for one less week of SEC football?

The game has been devalued with the playoff expansion.

I keep saying this but, I think best option is a conference 4-team playoff for the Power 4. Then those 4 champions play in 4 team National Championship Playoff.

Would make the Conference Championship a huge deal. Leaves out the G5 and ND, but ND could join a conference.

Almost all fans outside of Georgia and Alabama fans don't want to see this game. It's not that there will be a lack of good teams playing. It's just old watching these two teams. It's like watching the Patriots or Chiefts every year. Boooorrring

Tickets are not a damn investment. Youre a douchebag if you buy face value tickets with only the intention of selling them for a profit

Just for clarity.

I have held championship game tickets for over a decade.
Most years I go to the game.
I’ve seen my team play in it 3 times.

I’ve provided tickets at costs to friends most years.

Nobody wanted the tickets this year. I grew up in Alabama and live in Georgia.
I am getting older, and so are many of my contacts so I was able to give a friend 2 tickets at my costs.

The other two tickets I could not find anyone who wanted to go to the game for $237.50 per ticket which is my cost.

So I listed them.

I lowered the price day after day until they sold. I made $50.

Last year 4 UGA friends took them at cost and were excited to get them at that price.

Get on the waiting list. You can then decide IF you are a douchebag, or not IF your team is not in the game.

One year I cleared $1800 on $630 tickets.

The vast majority of years, I went to the game with family or friends or let them have tickets at costs.

Not really a shite-talking sort of series. We don't actually hate Georgia like we do UT or Auburn. It's pretty lopsided as well, so that definitely cuts down on it.

We don't really want to see it either. We were ready to play somebody new, but A&M shite their pants.

They aren't a rival or anything. Plus I think both have enough injures and shite that nobody is actually confident. It's more of a well lets see what happens game.

I don’t think either fan base feels confident in their team winning it, mounting injuries, already been played, it feels kinda redundant and more of a chore than an exciting matchup.

So stupid. Tickets are still averaging 5-700 a piece. Since you’ve never been you wouldn’t understand this, but there’s basically three sections. 1,2 and 3 which is upper deck.

1 is running 1200 minimum and up to 3500 per seat depending on what yard line and section.

Level 2 is 750-1200 or more depending on what yard line

And upper deck is starting around 250 but that’s the top of the damn stadium next to the ceiling.

Auburn sucks

Well that was dumb. I fully expected to be playing UGA if we won the IB and A&M fans were consistently melting when being told how soft their schedule was.

A few weeks ago, I dreamed of A&M or Ole Miss getting into the game for the first time. I would sell my tickets for a record price.
I sold mine three weeks ago...got double what I got last year...when I listed this year, I made my tickets the cheapest in the section...worked out well.

I’ve been several times.

I attended 2008/09/10/12/13/14/15/16/17

There are lots of tickets available.
Most are overpriced.
The prices will. Crater tomorrow and Saturday.
It’s market with an expiration. The ticket becomes worthless Saturday at 4.
