If Bama played in the East they’d have even more success than currently this past decade. LSU and Auburn in the SEC are the teams that have kept Bama from complete dominance.

ETA: Obviously Clemson too, but I meant in the SEC

If Trevor Lawrence had played in their first game, TAMU would have been in the playoffs. I was extremely underwhelmed by Notre Dame, but every Catholic on the committee votes to put them in as long as they're not 4-8.

ND getting in this past year over A&M was insane. That was just pure robbery imo

Those are some good tier OOC schedules, especially A&M's.

Not sure what the complaint is?

This might would have some merit if Clemson's backup had played badly.

& we know the SEC WILL NOT split same state schools into opposite divisions. Also, kills TSIO or IB.

True. But nearly all of those results are one team - Bama - dominating both the East and West.

someone other than Alabama won in 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2019, with Georgia winning in 2017. Alabama has won 7 of the 11 titles of those years the west won. They certainly won the majority, but I also wouldn't call 63% "nearly all"

Now look at the preceding decade and the East owns that.

No, they don't. They league was just had more inter-division competitive. The East and West split the preceding decade.

The East is basically Georgia and Florida at the top.

The West has LSU and Bama which are better than both UF and UGA plus add in Auburn and A&M

One of those things is not like the other 5.
